We love stopping by for some Hunan family dish and select how hot you want it. The staff is always quick and helpful on helping us choose a new dish.Daisy C.Aeviasmom.le-Vel.com

Owned by the family of Dat Nguyen of Dallas Cowboy fame, we used to drive to Rockport to eat at the original Hu-Dat before they opened the location here in Ingleside. We were here opening day when Dat was on hand to sign autographs and have seen him here a time or two since. In the land of Mexican and barbecue restaurants of which South Texas is famous, what will it tell you if I say this is one of my favorite restaurant in all of San Patricio County? I have probably tried everything on the menu at some point but I keep coming back to the Bun Thit Nuong served with nuoc mam and egg rolls. I get the bun with chargrilled, marinated beef strips and 3 large Gulf shrimp which are another food this area is famous for. The ingredients are so fresh and tasty that I just can't get enough of it.

This place is now our favorite Asian restaurant in the Aransas Pass/Rockport area. The menu is extensive and everything we have tried has been great. Tonight we had Spicy Korean Soup with chicken and Shrimp and Pad Thai, both were yummy. The portions are large, the staff are friendly and service is prompt. The first time we were there they were swamped with carry out phone orders. Our server was upset by our wait, but it didn't seem all that bad to us. Anyone who complains about this restaurant because it doesn't have egg drop soup or hot mustard packets ought to limit his Asian restaurants excursions to Panda Express; what makes this place so appealing is that you can avoid the standard Americanized-Asian food found at so may other places. Not that there aren't some of the usual "American-Chinese" choices, but they aren't the main things on the menu. Live a little, try something a bit different!

Popular restaurant - great food.
Just had their Sesame Chicken for Lunch. The Lunch portion would be what you would expect the Dinner portion to be.The Dinner portion must be GI-normous!The Sesame Chicken was quite good & crisp, their sauce was not too sweet or thickAbout TWENTY-FIVE pieces of Chicken & 2 Full Cups of Fried Rice with some very good Egg Drop Soup. With my Soda the Lunch came in, with a $2.00 tip at $12.00The atmosphere says "Fast Food" but the Food says "You Lucky Fellow"They do Take Out Orders too!!Wow, thank you for this awesome review! It is very much appreciated. Iâm glad you had a great experience. Thank you!
I visit this restaurant often with my wife and 8yo daughter. They have a great selection of beautifully prepared sashimi and sushi rolls as well as a small selection of standard Asian food choices for those who aren't fans of sushi. Our small family will eat our fill, typically 3 large rolls and a thin roll plus sodas, and the cost is around $75 with tip. We generally eat here 2 times or more per month. Very tasty! Great quality fish!
