A recent Friday dinner experience was a pleasant surprise. We were seated indoors next to an open window allowing us to enjoy the live entertainment and cool breeze. During happy hour, well drinks are $5 and a selection of beers is $3. Other cocktails are offered at regular price but a bit steep in my opinion and were not worth the $8 price tag.An appetizer of quail bites on a bed of cheesy grits with bourbon gravy was excellent. For entrees we opted for the Caesar salad with a bowel of gumbo or tortilla soup. The soups were fairly standard. However the Caesar salad was a head of romaine lettuce with Parmesan cheese and dressing drizzled on. It was definitely different but difficult to cut and eat.Service was prompt and efficient the night we visited.

I visited this restaurant for dinner with my family and it was not crowded , there was a jazz player playing beautiful music. The restaurant looked very nice . We ordered calamari , Lasagna , Penne a la Vodka, Chicken Marsala. Our waiter was very attentive and nice too. We ordered some pisco sours since we are Peruvians (the owner is Peruvian too). He came to introduce himself and his wife also brought us more Pisco sour to enjoy, what a great gesture, both were very nice and welcoming. The food was delicious . We will come back to the restaurant for sure!.

DâVine Wine Bar fills the niche for a swanky oasis in the NW corner of the Houston metro area. Their happy hour portions are perfect and delicious. The wine flights provide affordable opportunities to taste a variety of grapes and vintages. The staff is knowledgeable, and the feeling is classy yet casual. Live music often completes the atmosphere. Itâs a great spot to hang with co-workers, friends, or that special someone.

Went there with some out of town guests for coffee, wine and dessert because we heard good reviews from the place. Turns out that this is for the hoity toity only! If your going for coffee and cake, go somewhere else. If you're into crappy service, enjoy this place by all means. BTW, you can get the same wines at Specs for 1/3 the price and enjoy a better evening at home with friends.
