We where very desapointed because we arrive to the restaurant for an early dinner on a Tuesday at 5:05pm and we have to wait for a table when more then half of the restaurant was available, unfortunately the perception of bad service was huge. The food was good , this restaurant have the best rolls and the Ice tea and a huge menu but unfortunately the first impression was not the best

We brought our nephews for the first time. They crushed the steak! Steak, mashed potatoes, salad bar, everything was really good. They do not have a liquor license yet,so we brought in our own wine. The service and hospitality was just fantastic! If in the area go by, price point was really good for all you can eat steak.$26.00/ea is a bargain compared to similar steak restaurants.

The LaQuinta shuttle from DFW brought us back to the hotel right near dinnertime on a Tuesday in August 2018. Looking across the parking lot, Saltgrass beckoned. Armed with a coupon for a free appetizer (provided by Braxton, the friendly and talented LaQuinta employee), we entered with throttled expectations that reflected what we knew was a chain restaurant.Inside we were greeted by our charming and amiable server, Halie, and we instantly suspected our experience might just exceed expectations. Our free appetizer was the spinach and artichoke dip, which was very tasty. My partner ordered the Hill Country Salad (with fried chicken), and I chose the cheeseburger with fries. She washed her salad down with the house margarita, and I chose the Silver Star Bock from McKinney, Texas's Franconia Brewery. My partner reports that her salad was good, and my hearty, juicy cheeseburger definitely exceeded expectations--and exceeded the bun's ability to hold it, which actually is a good thing. The fries were merely average, but both of our beverages were very enjoyable. All things considered, we had a pleasant experience for a chain restaurant dinner. The primary downside was the prices, which were a bit on the high side. Fortunately, we arrived at happy hour, and we had the LaQuinta coupon, which made everything all right.
