The town is mainly a bedroom community for the nearby refining complexes in Beaumont and Port Arthur and is part of the Beaumont-Port Arthur Metropolitan Statistical Area. I met friends there for dinner. Each of us had a different dish, and all of us loved our meal. Finding the restaurant was easy once you realize it is in a strip mall on the side of the interstate. I had eggplant parmigiana and it was great. The portions were huge and I ended up having enough for lunch the next day. They serve wine and I enjoyed a lovely glass with my meal. The dessert menu is also wonderful and I had the Italian Cream Cheese Cake and it was so rich but so great. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone.
