Dallas Chef, Jean-Marie Cadot, brings new flavors to the metroplex with his North Dallas French restaurant. Cadot Restaurant offers wedding, private event and business catering in addition to their lunch and dinner service.
We had a very enjoyable dinner at Cadot. The food and service was wonderful. The waitstaff very attentive! I ordered the rabbit and it was divine with a rich brown gravy that perfectly complemented the pappardelle pasta. Our server offered several drink and dining suggestions that complemented our meal nicely.

Lavendou, a retreat into the French countryside - a place where life is savored as much as the food. Lavendou is thoroughly French, from the inviting decor to the gracious service and authentic cuisine. But don't expect it to be pretentious. Owner Pascal
We have dined here several times now for special occasions and Lavendou never disappoints. Service is always quite attentive. The wine, salads, food selections, and desserts are hard to beat. I will admit, I was a little disappointed this last time that the chocolate souffles were not available - those are my favorites. The dover sole in lemon butter is my absolute go-to dish and I will keep returning for this fish!

Not sure the name alone would have brought me here, but I'm sure glad I discovered this quaint restaurant! I would definitely order everything I had again ~ onion soup, rainbow trout, cherries Jubilee!! All dishes were outstanding!! Will definitely go back!
