We have driven by this little restaurant for years but never stopped......I now wish we started eating here years ago. The food was wonderful! The atmosphere is very quaint, country, down home.....comfortable. There is nothing flashy about this place but the food. Southern comfort food at affordable prices. If you are in Terrell and hungry then drop by Kountry Kitchen.

As good as any Waffle House I've ever been too with the exception of the staff; our staff at this Waffle House are very friendly and welcoming.

This waffle house is busy day and night. We ate here twice during our stay, once in the morning, once late at night. Fresh food at reasonable prices. The cook mastered his grill cooking many dishes at the same time. We were amazed watching him. I noticed that he washed his hands and wore gloves when cooking and staff stayed busy cleaning the floors and tables. Waitresses were all friendly and I noticed a lot of team work. All guests were treated like friends here. There is something for everyone on the menu. My daughter is a vegetarian and I don't eat eggs yet we still had many food choices.

I live close by so stop here often. No, not often, a lot.To give it 4, or worse, 5 stars is an injustice. Actually, overall, it's been worse lately.A new face working there often I'm assuming due to turnover. The ones there seem to be doing their best, but more oversight is needed. Food not cooked to order, not as clean as could be, people waiting too long. And place could use a light makeover to brighten it up.A strong 3 rating, but also a ways from a 4 or more.
