Reviews on Diner food in Galveston, Texas, United States. More than 30 miles of beaches plus a wealth of cultural and historic institutions make this island a Gulf of Mexico vacation hot spot. If you go, don't forget your walking shoes: With 14 museums and 20 art galleries, plus several historic homes and mansions, there's a lot of ground to cover. Armchair pilots will love the Lone Star Flight Museum and those with more of a nautical interest can check out the Texas Seaport Museum. Families will enjoy the many child-friendly attractions, including Moody Gardens, with its replica of a tropical rain forest. It's easy to get caught up in all the activities, but don't forget to spend some downtime in the sun and on the beach.

Excellent breakfast and we loved the biscuits and gravy. My wife had the bacon and grits with it and I had the sausage and hashbrowns. Everything was cooked properly and tasted great. This is a really good breakfast spot. We finished it off with some beignets. We always stop here on our visits to Galveston. That is great to hear! We're glad to see that you liked everything, and we will look forward to your next visit to the Island!

We are huge WH fans and every time we travel, we try to hit at least one WH during our trip. This specific WH was not as efficient as most. We sat at the counter and there was what seemed to be a lot of confusion in the ordering process, this resulted in a pretty good wait for the food. The food was served at two different times, the first plate came and then minutes later the second part of the food showed up. Nope, this one gets a thumbs down.

It is all about Soul Food at its best. Delicious main dishes such as Smothered Ox tails, Meatloaf like Mom's, and of course our Fried Ribs. But don't ignore the delicious sides and desserts - like homemade banana pudding and yams like your Grandma makes.
My wonderful husband was full of surprises for my 50th birthday. He had friends and my daughter flown down from Alaska, Invited all my local friends, and had Soul2Soul cater our Friday night celebration. Everyone raves about all the delicious dishes, fried ribs, gumbo, chicken, potatoes, pecan pie, banana pudding, cobbler and more. So delicious and we had food for days.
