We have tried several of these and have found all of them overpriced, slow waitress over rated I think what makes places like this popular is you can but beer at most of them
#1 - Conch Fritters were the BEST!! #2 - Conch Chowder was good. The bread with it is great. #3 - Conch salad was just ok. A lot of filling, spicy, kind of a ceviche style. #4 - Onion Ring - plentiful but over cooked. With ranch dressing. #5 - Service was outstanding. #6 - upstairs nice and breezy#7 - Bloody Excellent#8 - Tremendous amount of food for for the $$$#9 - Excellent Rock Music and Country as well#10 - An extremely friendly atmosphere !!!!It's worth busting at LEAST once!

We went here after reading the reviews, and we are glad we did.I got the two meat plate with brisket and sausage with BBQ beans and fried fkra for sides. My wife got the rib plate with potato salad and green beans. The brisket was excellent, The sausage was good but not to my taste, the BBQ beans reminded me of B&M baked canned beans, and the okra was fantastic. The Ribs were very good, the Potato salad was mild but tasty and the Green Beans had a very peppery bite to them. I love black pepper, yet the green beans were to much for my taste. The portions were good on the meats and very large on the sides. We would highly recommend going here for some Q.

MESQUITE : 972-289-2300
We were at Mesquite convention center, and went over for some BBQ, It was very good. The were plenty of sides to choose from. I had coleslaw & spicy fried potatoes. Both were excellent. The coleslaw was net real heavy with mayo that you can't enjoy the taste of the vegies. The potatoes were very good. Sliced beef was tender and trimmed of excess fat.
