Reviews on Soups food in Laredo, Texas, United States. Located on the border between Mexico and the U.S., on U.S. I-35 and Mexican Federal Highway 85, Laredo is America's largest inland port and one of the oldest border crossing points. Once capital of the briefly held independent Republic of the Rio Grande, the city has survived a long history of conflict and friendship between the U.S. and Mexico. Its legacy is a rich community boasting unique shopping, lively entertainment and festivals, including the month-long Washington's Birthday Celebration.

a nice place to relax with the familia, get a good decent meal with great flavor. Always clean and frencuently good service. A regular for the family and friends. Highly recommended.
I was driving by, and decided to stop and check it out for lunch. They have Pho, which is Vietnamese soup. They also have noodle plates; I had the rice noodles with chicken and an egg roll. It was delicious, hot and freshly prepared. The egg roll was very tasty ... nicely crisp, but not crunchy. All of the soups and diners were in the $8 - $11 range. They have appetizers and side items, but I didn't look at those. I do recommend lunch or dinner here.

The name of this place is Delicatesse. It is not really a full-blown delicatessen, and serves a fairly limited menu of several varieties of panini bread sandwiches, stuffed crepes, various herbal teas (no bob/tapioca beads!) and several pastries/desserts. There is a salad bar. They also serve soup, but ran out by the late afternoon when I stopped by.I stopped by for the first time today and got a to-go order of two stuffed crepes and one vegetarian panini bread sandwich. They were all pretty good. Each one seemed to run around $5.75 - $7The store is hard to see with its small obscure sign, even though it is on the side of the strip mall closest to Calle Del Norte. It seems to be run by a couple of sisters. It's a nice change of pace from the usual Mexican food here in Laredo. I'd like to see them add to their menu - things like wraps, boa/tapioca bead teas, etc.
