Ate here for the first time in January, 2016 on the advice of locals. The restaurant caters to the local Vietnamese community, which is a good sign. Menu contained mostly beef-based pho options--all were excellent, as well as the spring rolls. Pho was served with fresh basil and lime which made it perfect. Service was great, and the proprietor suggested his favorite menu options. Prices are very reasonable. The ambience is plain, diner-style, no frills. You come here for the delicious food and great service. Location is nothing stylish but easy to access in Haltom City.
I had a turkey and guacamole sandwich on wheat bread. The turkey was thin sliced and the sandwich also had guacamole, lettuce, tomato, and red onion. The filling was delicious, but the bread was mushy and soft, and certainly not what I would consider wheat bread. It fell apart as I ate it. I expected a bread with some "heft", not a somewhat greasy white bread. Disappointed!
I dined at this Subway due to it's very close to the hotel I stayed. Food was fresh and the staff didn't mind to put lots of ingredients on it.
