The new ownership of Joe's has made vast improvements. The food is delightful with a home made flavor. We enjoyed the chicken parmigan, stromboli and pizza. The Joe's salad with the house dressing is delicious. The attention to detail of the staff makes for a pleasant dining experience.

Serving hand-crafted pizza and delicious, fresh Italian food to our neighbors in North Texas.
We went to this store the first time and the listed pizzas were 'pretty imaginative. We passed and went elsewhere. Then the family wanted to go there (Daughters and Husbands and Grandkids). We went and I asked about modifying or starting over from scratch and ordering what I consider a long time favorite normal pizza :-). The made it, I ate it, I liked it, and now we go there to eat. Proof is in the eating, chuckle.

Served in a cozy, Old World themed dining room, Italian Bistro's scrumptious offerings were soooo good. We began with an appetizer of Shrimp and Artichoke Bottoms. Served in a lemony garlic butter and herb sauce, they were a great start to our meal. I chose the Eggplant Parmesan for my entree. It had a crisp bread crumb coating and was not at all soggy like some variations are. The sauce was thick with rich tomato flavor. My only suggestion would be to switch to a "gooier" mozzarella. On our server's recommendation, my husband ordered the Veal Saltimbocca and deemed it excellent. House salads included with the entrees were quite plain - lettuce with grated mozzarella and dressing on the side. Do yourself a favor and save room for a cannoli. Sweet, light cream stuffed into a chocolate lined shell was the best way ever to end a most satisfying meal. A selection of reasonably priced wines is available along with beers and cocktails. Service was friendly and well paced on a busy night. A word of advice would be to take a look at the menu online, as the dim (but cozy) lighting made reading the menu a bit of a challenge. Overall it was a wonderful evening!
