At the start of a business trip, stopped for dinner. The food, service and ambiance was fabulous. After ordering unsweetened tea the owner brought out a complementary sample of sweetened tea...delicious.The lentil soup and kabobs had a unique blend of spices - fabulous. Most unique was the rice - it had a different blend of spice not typical with Mediterranean food making it exceptional. After chatting about a trip to the Middle East, the owner had fresh mint tea sent complementary. Too kind - needed to leave an additional tip. Felt as though I was dining with family. Will come back when in the area.

Corner of Stuebner Airline & Louetta
We were visiting our family recently and decided to try Olivit Mediterranean Grill after a recommendation from a friend. The casual restaurant is located in a strip mall, so parking was easy. The service was good and the food came out quickly after ordering. I believe we ordered from the dinner menu even though we were there for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We started with a hummus sampler platter and the hummus did not have much flavor - it was just ok. Several in our party had the gyro sandwich and they thought it was average. I ordered the Tawook and Kofta Kabob Plate. The chunks of chicken tasted grilled but there wasn't any particular seasoning on them. I did not care for the seasonings on the meat and would not order it again. The plate also included a small cup of lentil soup, which was excellent. We went to Zara's Mediterranean Kitchen (also in Spring) last fall and it was really good, so 3 of our party of 4 said we preferred Zara's.

I ordered take out for the family and everything was very good and just as ordered. Even my pickiest eater liked the chicken "tika" kabob. My favorite is the chicken shawarma, they have the best in this area. The servers were friendly and helpful even though the dining room was full at the time.
