There weren't many diners when we went to El Taquito in Coldspring. Service was OK. My wife had the enchilada dinner and I had the chili relleno dinner. My wife wasn't impressed with her meal, but my chili relleno was excellent. This isn't the greatest restaurant, but the food was good.

I loved this. Place when it was in its old location. The staff and food were both awesome. Now they have moved-just about seven doors, counter-clockwise around the square. You can see the new location from the old location. The new restaurant has a full kitchen, so they can expand the menu a little. The new place also has more tables and seating for about thirty people in the dining room. There are a couple of additional tables outside as well. Now they are called "Taco Express" and they are open for dinner too. In the evening they stay open until 8PM. By far the best Mexican food in Coldspring.

Love going here for lunch or dinner. The service is always fast and friendly, but the food will keep you coming back again and again. Much better than your average Tex-Mex. Everything has an authentic homemade taste, and the prices are more than reasonable. The servings are very generous, so go hungry or ask for a doggie bag.
