Stopped in for breakfast - Good omelets -hash browns are not my favorite potatoes so didn't enjoy them. biscuits light and fluffy - white gravy with pieces of cut up sausage which was disappointing - friendly service - would prefer a check with individual prices, but only final price was on the check.

We stopped after our walk and discovered simple breakfast food done right. Though the portions were generous, we both managed to finish everything on our plates. Add friendly attentive service and you've got the Save Inn.

It was a steamy hot Texas day but it was lunchtime and we were hungry. Neither of us felt like eating a big meal but we needed something - so the dessert menu caught our eye and we both wound up ordering 2-scoop sundaes -- and were they good!For $2.99 we had two scoops, a sauce (Carmel for me), topping (chopped nuts for me) and whipped cream. Service was good, the restaurant was clean and we were more than satisfied with our unique lunch choice.
