First night in Houston...a little hard to find but worth it for the food. Heavy on meat----steak,chicken. Had the mixed appetizer---very good would recommend if you have not tasted the flavor palette of South African food before. Had the chicken kabob(can't remember the name and comes in beef too), wife had the chicken curry. Both were good. Not inexpensive but still a decent value. Staff is working hard to make it an experience. Decor is nice.

In the heart of Rice Village, this cafe is spacious, with a rustic interior, a few outdoor tables and plenty of parking. The espresso-based coffees are excellent! The ice creams appeared to be melting, probably a defective refrigerator. The desserts were mediocre and unsophisticated. The menu suggests this is a very good place for breakfast and a convenient place for lunch and happy hour.Hi, Gabriel - we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us. We have eaten at Bazille several times. It is not close to our home, but when we are in the area or shopping at the Galleria. The menu offers a variety of excellent choices. If we go for lunch we normally get a salad. The salads are a regular meal. The salmon nicoise, which comes with hard boiled egg slices, onions, green beans, olives, and potatoes. The service is friendly and punctual. We highly recommend this restaurant.
