We have been eating at Pao for many years both in the attractive restaurant and home delivery and it has been consistently excellent. Service is good both in house and delivery. The food is close to authentic Chinese cuisine with slight modification for American taste. We love the pot stickers, lo mein, Kung pao chicken and coconut shrimps to name a few off there extensive menu. Easy access and parking make this one of our favorite ethnic restaurants in Lakeway.

We stayed at the Vintage Villas and this is one of the restaurants that delivers there, we were tired from travels and instead of fighting the traffic on 620, turning left with no light we got them to deliver. It was good. The only complaint was we got shrimp fried rice and there were six to eight shrimp in this huge portion of rice.

I visited solo on a Friday night around 6:30 and the place was buzzing. I was seated right away but before long there was a cue waiting for tables. There was also a steady stream of folks dropping in and picking up take out orders.Service was fast and professional and I order the Salt and Pepper Wings and a Large Brisket Pho. Both were excellent with the Pho being my favorite. The broth was delightfully tasteful, but I do wish there had been a little more brisket in the dish.The place was still buzzing when I left at ~ 7:30. I believe I must have stumbled into a hidden Bee Cave Gem.
