Johnson and the south branch of the Colorado River, it is known in the region for its drag boat racing and other water sports. Prior to its incorporation in September 2005, it was a census-designated place (CDP). The CDP population was 3,337 at the 2000 census. The 2010 census put the population at 3,418.

Last Sunday a small group of us ate at China Kitchen. We had not been there since the new owners took over, we were pleasantly surprised that the food was just as good if not better and the service was great. The owners had set the group up on a long table in a quiet corner which talking pleasant. China Kitchen will continue to be one of our favorite restaurants in Marble Falls. Drop by and check them out. Still good for over 20 years.

This Chinese restaurant offers a fabulous array of Chinese cuisine and some very good roasted pork and chicken entrees. They have a sushi area as well as salads, desserts, soups and ice cream. The food was hot, fresh and very tasty. The interior was clean and well decorated. Our server was very friendly.

Lunch on a Friday. There was a short wait. The line moved slowly. This location opened about two weeks ago. I requested food to go. They wrote my selections on the container. I paid and was gone. The people were friendly and helpful. The food was tasty. The fried rice had a very slight burnt smell. There were three plate sizes depending upon the number of entre dishes selected, one, two, or three. I selected two, which worked with the to-go container. Not sure how they would have done three.
