A quaint cafe where you can get fresh salads, sandwiches from in house cooked and hand carved meat, specialty entrees and appetizers. We also offer homemade pies, cake, and cheesecake.
First time here and it was really great. The staff was nice and the restaurant was clean and quaint. We really enjoyed the decor and ambiance. The food was impressive. We had a large party and not one person was disappointed in what they got. Everything tasted great. I really enjoyed the queso and chips for an appetizer and the Broccoli cheese soup. I also had the wedge salad and found that to my liking as well. I sampled others in my family's food and the hamburger was good, and the fresh cut french fries were excellent! In fact, on the menu, there's multiple choices for the fries where you could easily make a meal of them. I would love to try to in the future. We passed our compliment to chef for all the food. If you're in Sherman and want a nice eatery that's off the beaten trail/highway, come to this place.
We have passed CJ's for months and Stopped in for a light breakfast and coffee. They have Great coffee, much better than Starbucks. They also have a selection of breakfast sandwiches a and luncheon items. They have free WIFI and we used it. Try it!

This was supposed to be food just like mama made, and it definitely was. But my mama canât cook. Ambiance is great, and portions were big, so that was good. Not bad pricing. The attitude of the staff is lazy, kind of like theyâre daydreaming the day away. Drinks were never refilled. Our food took 30 min to prepare with hardly any other tables occupied in the place. Bacon was good, but the chocolate pancakes were meh. They tossed some chocolate in a pan, burned it, then cooked a couple pancakes on top. Voila! Chocolate pancakes. Nope. My business partner got the âsalmon burger.â Donât know what that was, but pretty sure it never had fins or swam. We told the waitress the burger was terrible, and her response was, âHuh. Well...maybe have the turkey next time.â My response to that? Huh. Maybe Iâll go to another restaurant next time.
