Great food in Gonzales. More bar than grill but try the squash casserole and homemade West TX salsa. Busy with friendly and efficient service after the lunch rush hour. âWe donât call 911â is one of the bar signs. Locals and tourists. Will return and recommend.

I have eaten here many times and the food is declining rapidly. The steaks are broiled in an oven....no flame. If you buy the most expensive cut the meat is good. But there is no seasoning I could detects and it was broiled in an oven. I want my steaks to see flame. We all ordered steak sauce to get the meat palatable.We got the spinach dip appetizer which was burnt on the top and was barely enough for one person. We have had it before and they are cutting back on portions without telling the customer.The green beans and the sliced potatoes tasted old. Out of rice and out of peas.This will be our last trip. I will not spend over $100 taking guests out to eat a meal that I regret.

What a great place to stop and eat. Nice open set up and seems to always be busy. Small but different menu.Burgers, pizzas, appetizers, steaks, seafood and more. Tegan was a great server. We ordered the calamari and 14 inch 3 item pizza.the pizza came out faster than the app, lol.The pizza will feed 3. Good crust, toppings had good flavor, pepperoni, canadian bacon and mushrooms. the calamari had like a cheese sprinkled on them, squeeze of lemon and they were great. too bad we could not enjoy the 2$ drafts.
