The BBQ here is excellent. We bring all our out of town guests here to enjoy the food. Seems a little expensive but well within reason. Conveniently located on hwy 69 directions are easy to give to meet folks passing through. I recommend this place to go to eat.

I am an adventurous eater and like roadside places. I hoped to be impressed. I was not. They do have a rather extensive menu, but that is all that's good about this place.Got a 3 item combo, fish (catfish?), shrimp, oysters. Started with cole slaw. It was pretty good. Shrimp was flaccid and tasted and smelled old. Oysters were a barely recognizable mass of sea snot. God knows how old they were and how long they had been defrosted. Sorry for being so graphic, but that about covers it. Fish fillets were decent, but nothing special. Fries were good. Well except for the two hairs I found mixed in with my food. Yeah, saved the best for last.Maybe because it was near closing time on a Sunday, but I will never set foot in this place again. And not cheap for what you get. Oh and the bathrooms were reasonably clean for what that's worth.

Papas Chicken Fried Steak is awsome, Super great old fashion hamburgers, Friday all day is fish plates and everyday is a different lunch plate. If you want some good old country cooking this is your place.
