This place is a must in your trip to Houston. It is a perfect place for a delicious dining experience. Food is great. It consists of four courses: cheese fondue, salad, entree and chocolate fondue. You choose three to four times in your entree, and you get the chance to cook your meal yourself on the table. Now, they added a new cooking option which is grill style and it was perfect for the sirloin and chicken.Every time we go we have a great experience. Although our last visit was slightly different. The service was super slow, and we spent like three hours to finish our dining experience that my daughter missed half of it because she felt asleep. The waiter was very friendly and professional . It is not really a kid friendly place especially because the table has a stove on it, but it is doable . Highly recommended.

The service at the restaurant is quite good and attentive. They seem to have less meat selections than some Churracaria's but the cuts of meat are the better ones and the meats are cooked and seasoned very well. The traditional sides for the table are inferior. The salad bar is very average as well. Lastly, like most Churrascaria's the room is a bit cavernous so it's better for a group of people. As I said, if the meats are what you are interested in... and that's why you go to a Churrascaria, then it's worth it. The prices may be a bit steep for what you get but not enough to make a difference in whether you choose to go or not.

As a top a Houston, TX Catering specialist, Genesis Steakhouse & Wine Bar offers delicious and beautiful culinary creations. We can fulfill any theme and authentic international or regional cooking.
The food here was really excellent, and they have an extensive variety. We tried several of the sushi options, as well as the fish and chips, all of which I thought was excellent. The server offered good recommendations, and service was good. I will be back next time I'm visiting Houston.

Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse embodies the rich tradition of the classic American steakhouse, serving USDA Prime Beef, fresh seafood and premium wines from our award-winning wine selection.
I ordered Chilean Snapper, crab fried rice, and water. My guest ordered crab cakes, cheesecake, and lobster bisque soup. Everything was perfectly prepared and tasted scrumptious. Service is impeccable. Reservations are recommended because they get crowed for dinner.

I had dinner with a girlfriend at Steak 48 Friday night. The place was crowded and loud, but that was expected. We had a 7:15 p.m. reservation. I love that most people come dressed very nice and it's a great place to see the beautiful people of Houston out and about. Unfortunately, some people do not know how to dress for a place as upscale and fabulous as this and I wish the restaurant would bar entry to anyone not well dressed. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was very good. The pork belly appetizer is probably the best I've ever had. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The cocktail and wine selection are awesome. This place in pricey, but the food and service make you feel good about the price tag.

Elegant, award-winning steakhouse serving dry-aged prime beef, seafood & exceptional wines.
Wonderful steaks and great sides. Good selection of wines. Great bar at both locations. Although the Westheimer location has been open for decades I think I prefer the downtown restaurant. Food is great at both locales but downtown dining room seems more spacious.
