My aunt from Channelview turned me on to this place. It looks terrible and is in the crappiest part of Pasadena, but the food is awesome and unbelievably CHEAP! I always get the shrimp burger basket. The shrimp are small but the sandwich is chock full of shrimp. Vietnamese owners are sweet and hardworking. I try to come here whenever I'm in Houston.
I've been twice and have been happy with the food and the service, though speaking Spanish is a plus here. The bistek was great, but the enchiladas were a little dry and very spicy (hot). I normally don't care much for beans, but the Honduran red beans were also quite tasty, The white rice was okay, The chips were okay -- more like fritos -- but tasted fresh.
After a rough day of work in the area, I was craving oysters on the half shell. This is the place! They were super fresh and delicious. The gumbo was as good as it gets too.Service is good. The decor bright and clean... and Hispanic.... not fine dining... for working people. It's pretty far from where I live, but if I am in the area, I would definitely go back.
This was our first visit. The food was delicious! I had the filet with shrimp and mushroom creme sauce.....absolutely delicious. Husband had the ceviche and then "octopus in love". He said it was also very good. This is not a fancy place but is filled with music...outside and inside. Very festive atmosphere. The portions are HUGE :)
Massaâs is quite close to the hotel I stayed at on my last trip to Houston. I have eaten there before and always end up visiting each time Iâm in town. This trip my main was Crawfish Ãtouffée and it certainly didnât disappoint. Lots of distinct flavours and a hearty serving. Iâve had the Redfish Ponchartrain on previous trips and certainly enjoyed that. Looking forward to returning on my next trip to Houston

Looked for dinner restaurant, flying out of Houston in the morning. This restaurant was close and seemed very busy, must be something good happening. Met at front door by floor manager. We told him we had never been before. He proceeded to take us in tour. After sitting down the waitress showed up very quickly. Our was described and we ordered. We noticed during our meal that just about All employees either said Hello, or asked if we needed anything.I had ceviche, and it was great tasting. I commended that the fish needed to be diced. Good taste and just the correct size.We enjoyed the cantina and will be sure to return.

Whole fried tilapia is served correctly. Crispy, head-on and the gills are cut out. A few slices on the skin would add texture so Iâll ask for that next time. We ordered several dishes because we kept seeing great stuff coming outside of the kitchen. If itâs packed just wait a minute and get your seat. Please quit inviting Guy Fieri here. This is world famous and it doesnât need more business. I like to eat here vs stand in line. Ring me up if youâre headed there and Iâll meet you if I can. If not, just order up something and think of me and my review that brought you there. Best of travels,Me

Great poor boys that came with onion straws and Cajun fries or sweet potato fries for $8.99. Good service and was close to our airport hotel.

Convivial chain dishing up hearty portions of New Orleans-style seafood, steaks, salads & more.
Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen offers a quality seafood experience in the William P. Hobby Airport, Houston. This is not a typical airport fareâthe restaurant serves a real, very tasty food and drinks with all the efficiency needed for a busy airport. The restaurant is crowded, but we had no trouble getting our bags to our seat. The host and service staff were friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and quite busy. I especially noted how the servers kept an eye on traveler needs and jumped quick help folks get in and out to meet travel requirements. The menu was surprisingâplenty of choices for fried and non-fried seafood dishes and some non-seafood offeringsâpretty much the menu youâd expect an any full-service restaurant of this type, yet in an airport. All the food we ordered was fantastic and included ample portions. The prices matched the quality. Overall, I rate Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen at William P. Hobby Airport as a high value for engaged and friendly service, very good food, perfect price points, and location in a busy airport where more quality food is always needed. One of my favorite airport restaurants. Highly recommended.
