It is the principal city of the Wichita Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area, which encompasses all of Archer, Clay, and Wichita Counties. According to the 2010 census, it had a population of 104,553, making it the 35th-most populous city in Texas. In addition, its central business district is five miles (8 km) from Sheppard Air Force Base which is home to the Air Force's largest technical training wing and the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) program, the world's only multi-nationally manned and managed flying training program chartered to produce combat pilots for both USAF and NATO.

When family comes in town the Oyster Bar is a must go. When we are craving catfish its a must go. When we are craving Oysters and a Beer, its a must go. Very relaxing atmosphere. The remodel upstairs makes it my favorite place to eat and drink with friends. Catfish is my favorite. I like both the fried and grilled. When I get the grilled I get a side order of tortillas and coleslaw and make my own fish tacos. When I am really hungry I start off with a dozen oysters on the half shell accompanied with a generous side of red sauce, horseradish and lemons. The staff is wonderful. The food is consistently fresh, hot and cooked to perfection. A great neighborhood bar and restaurant.

In a "seen better days" area of downtown Wichita Falls is this great local spot. Known by many but bypassed in time, there is curb service brisket and fried chicken and inside service with a complete tacky decor. Any place that sticks one dollar bills on the ceiling I consider tacky. What is not tacky is the brisket plate, one of the best I have ever had in Texas- which is something to say. Also this is home of the Red draw, a beer tribute to the nearby red river I am guessing. Family friendly. Bikers and tattoos, but still not a rough joint. Great find. I will never understand why a chain like Jason's deli ranks number 2 in Wichita Falls with competition like the Bar L BBQ.

Unique setting, excellent entertainment and wide selection of beer and wine. The nachos were good, and the cheese sampler was excellent! Overall a great place to spend an hour or two and unwind.I could see parking being an issue ifbthe place was crowded, but luckily we didnât have any problems.

Hubby and I went for breakfast to celebrate his retirement. I had The western omelette with toast . It was excellent. Hubby had the smoked sausage omelette with pancakes and hashbrowns, coffee, & milk. We only paid about $15.66 for all that! Our sweet waitress brought my husband a piece of coconut meringue pie to celebrate his retirement! Must return!

My piled high pulled pork sandwich was delicious. I usually avoid Bar B Q sauce but their sauce was awesome. My husband had the chicken fried steak and ate every bite. So many fries I couldn't finish them all. Next time I'm in the neighborhood I'll eat here for sure.

We recently ate there on a Saturday night. Full house but we didn't have to wait long. We both had the filet which was excellently cooked. Nice fresh salad with it. They have a full bar available. Service was also very good. Prices above average but fair. We would go back!

Great food. Good service. Nice atmosphere. Had the meat loaf. Was very surprised. Came with onion rings which was good. Daughter had slider basket. She liked them. Started out with house made chips and ranch. Good pre meal snack. Lots of beer on tap. Come try it out.

We are going to miss this place when our son graduates college. Great food. Great service. This is a great family place with plenty of food choices for everyone. Burgers and fresh cut fries are delicious. Nachos are great. Hot dog with chili and cheese one of my favorites. You will love this place.

We needed a break from the road and came here based on reviews. The green chili chicken tacos were just right for a light late lunch. Spouse had the the turkey avocado melt. Both were very good. Service was very fast )it was 2:30 PM) and the server was friendly and attentive. Cool (nice after the Texas heat) and good music.
