Great food, cold beer, a little pricey but worth it. Usually exceptional service. Definitely one of our go-tos. When we have visitors they're never disappointed when we eat here.

Had early lunch during college football game day. The abundance of TVs is fantastic, some pretty waitresses as well. The food was average at best. We had the wings, with the Korean spicy, loaded tots and double stacked nachos with steak. The wings were good, well prepared, came out temperature hot and had good flavor. The loaded tots was "eh" ... small portion in an iron skillet. If we didn't order it we would not have missed it. The double stacked nachos w/steak was another bad choice - very small cube pieces of steak, unsure if it would had even weighed 3 ounces if all the steak pieces was gathered. Instead of a dollap of sour cream, it was drizzled across the bland tasting nachos that also had very small portion of jalapenos. The taste of Velvetta cheese was a huge turn off to cap it off.The bucket of beer special, 5 domestics for $12 was good, beers were iced. Thankfully there was college football on TV, cute waitresses and cold bucket beers.

Decided to stop in for lunch and was quickly greeted by a nice hostess. We ordered a few beers and were surprised by the prices they charge for draft beer, $5.50. We decided to get some fried pickles and they were horrible. They were drowning in grease and had uncooked cornmeal in the fried pickles. When biting into fried pickle each bite felt very squishy and didn't leave pleasant taste. I asked for the check and asked the waitress if she could show the chef the fried pickles to correct for any other guest ordering. She came back and gave me ticket, manager didn't come to say sorry and was charged the price for uneaten fried pickles. I paid my ticket and still left tip since waitress was very friendly. Lastly, with the amount of restaurants in the area, they are pretty proud on liquor prices and should review with what others are charging.Thank you for your review. We always appreciate feedback from our guests and are disappointed to learn of your less than great experience at Jakes Uptown on Henderson Ave. If you would, please provide us with the best way to get in contact with you so that we may get any additional information about your visit. (817) 624-8701. It is in the Fort Worth Stockyards
Didn't fancy trying to get a table at any of the really busy eateries in the Stockyards, so took a walk along main street and came across this wee gem.I had the burger, which actually had meat in it (please note, Mickey D's) and tasted so much better for it!My wife enjoyed her toasted cheese and the chips were, well, as chips should be.Really enjoyed our lunch
We had a private event in their nightclub. They set up a beautiful buffet of great food and I loved the Christmas tree as the centerpiece! Nice touch! I also loved that their bartenders not only offered specialty drinks, but were all dressed in 20's themed attire. It was super fun!

Always enjoy coming to Booger Red's for a drink. I arrived at shift change and there was a lot of confusion until we got served. Had a nice relaxing beverage with clients. You know you are in Texas when you go to Booger Red's. If nothing else I love the name!

The only diet drink they had was Pepsi. When we ordered water, the waitress asked if we wanted lemon. We both said yes, and she brought us water without lemon.Even though the restaurant wasn't busy, it took a very long time for our food to arrive. My friend's soup was very hot, but my Asian entree was almost room temperature. I decided not to complain; I assume they just would have microwaved it and sent it back.We won't be returning to this location.

Popped in here for a beer. Large fun bar with all the cowboy and elephant decor you could hope for. It's super cozy with seats at the bar and individual tables. Bar staff were really friendly. While we didn't have any, they serve some food too (burgers, hot dogs) and there was a booth selling chilli though that was unmanned. There also is a stage for performances and a stall selling merchandise. It's right in the the heart of the tourist area but it felt fun rather than tacky.

We found parking right outside the hotel and was quickly seated upon entering. We enjoyed the eclectic decor with lots of memorable pieces from Buffalo Butt Beer to the saddle bar seats. Our server was friendly and very helpful in recommendations. She kept tabs on us with refills and updates on our main courses.I went for the 12 ounce rib eye steak that was perfectly cooked to a warm red medium. The steak was seasoned well and accompanied by tasty sides, sautéed mushrooms and onions along with creamed spinach. It was nice being able to have options beyond the standard salad and potatoes listed on the menu. It was the perfect amount of food.

Four of us stopped in for lunch after golf at nearby Fossil Creek. Server Kristin was friendly and provided great service. Our sliced brisket sandwiches were piled high with tender brisket. Decent fries and tasty beans were chosen for side dishes. The place is large, clean and affords comfortable casual dining
