We planned to meet friends at this restaurant, but arrived early to have a drink at the bar. It's a good thing we did because by 7:00 there was no way we would have gotten a table for party of 6. The hostess was very sweet and save a table for us. Don't recommend the margaritas (they were very sweet), but the food is delicious! They brought basket of perfect chips and flavorful but not too spicy salsa. We ordered guacamole and pepper poppers for the table to share - excellent! My bowl of shrimp tortilla soup was too large to finish and the shrimp were not the usual tiny ones but large, succulent pieces. The street and city tacos were excellent (maybe the best at the table) and the plato platter had a nice assortment (the pork tamales were out of this world). The only disappointment were the chili rellenos. Our friends have been here for breakfast and they say its the best - can't wait to try it.

Been making this my morning breakfast stop for a while, service and accuraccy of order is sometime a miss. The food itself is usually fine, although sometimes the bacon items has some tough bacon in it. The Hash brown pattie, is a coin toss, sometime it's well prepared and fresh and other times it has spent too long under the heat lamp and has lost its crispy hot snap. The $1.00 menu is usually where I go. My drink is sometime as order and sometime not and I have learned to check the bag before I drive off, to be sure I got everything I paid for, I have had to loop back through. Greeting is always friendly and generally the visit is sufficient. It does however have room to improve.

Canât say enough good things about this place. Owner /manager offered to let me try the diff flavors on my first visit and gave me free chips and salsa while I waited on my to go order. Exceptionally good service and great tasting tacos at a very fair price - love this place. They also do large to go orders - my workplace has ordered from them....

Casual dining spot with a great salsa bar. I always get the chicken taco salad and ask them to put the chicken on top. Add the salsas and chopped onion and it is very tasty lunch. Very inexpensive. The flour tortillas are delicious and I always bring some home. You order at the counter and the food is prepared fresh.

Website does not list Sachse location, but it is the same place.
This is the type of place I love. Great food and great prices! The real deal. So many reviews you read rave about the food, etc. The food here is truly legitimate! The service is great and they actually act like they appreciate your business.
Love this restaurant! They have the best soda! And they have the best 7 layer nacho dish thing, donât remember the exact name of the dish, but it had beans, Guac, beef, lettuce, tomatoes, chips, cheese, corn and their amazing Sauces!!! Thank you for serving Wyliens ;)

La Joya is a small restaurant located in Historic Downtown Wylie. There is a homey atmosphere due to their small size. They recently more than doubled their seating capacity by acquiring the space next to them and removing the shared wall. They serve what I will describe as authentic Mexican food( I was raised in El Paso and ate Mexican food in El Paso and Juarez, Mexico). You can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the day. They have the only menudo in Wylie and only serve it on Sunday mornings. It is not a fast food restaurant and your order is not prepared until you order it. The service is better than a lot of other places and the food is better than you will find in other restaurants.

Decent Mexican food (I am a Native New Mexican) with total control for the diner. It's like the Subway of Mexican food. In my opinion, better than Chipotle. We both had bowls. I was able to make pretty healthy choices on this menu. The chips are optional. If I hadn't said yes to chips and Hard Lemonaade,it would have been a pretty healthy meal. Nice atmosphere for fast food. Rojo chicken was really good!

We stopped in for a quick bite and were so pleasantly surprised at the quality of food! Top notch!! My husband had the brisket enchiladas and I had the chicken relleno in mushroom sauce. Yes, you heard me right... mushroom sauce! It was like a little Mexican pot pie...so yummy!!
