Chismosa's is a fixture - especially for breakfast tacos when I'm closeby there in the morning. That real home cooked taste ! The tortilla are outstanding. Who would think it for a little restaurant attached to a station ! Definitely 5-star and you should try them !
They are located in a fule stop with truck parking. The service was fast with the food being very good and filling. Good sized portions at a reasonable price.
I thought it was nice. Just a normal restaurant. The cashier was nice and good: Christopher G. (I hope that is the right name on the receipt.) When you get up to the counter there is a split menu you can have KFC or Taco Bell, which I thought was pretty cool. Our order was given to the wrong person, luckily my boyfriend noticed and went up there to stand and when the worker brought out the next order, the girl who had taken our order(bc she didn't check the number or check in the bag first) realized she had too much and was looking through and John stepped in and told them both (very nicely of course) I think that is my order. The employee really didn't say the number very loud, but the girl who grabbed our bag was sitting up near the counter, and I guess she assumed it was her order. It wasn't a bad experience, I would definitely go back.

I don't what it is about the restaurants in this 4 block area of town (between old downtown and Hwy. 36), but there are some pretty darn good Mexican food joints here. Yes, its only "Tex Mex", but you can still get authentic Mexican dishes too. What's great about Buena Vista, you ask? Homemade flour tortillas, cheap prices, a bar, and good food. They don't usually seat us when we walk in, but are quick to serve us, once we find a good seat. Never had bad service here. We have only been during breakfast time, but I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed this restaurant. The chips were served with two salsas. Watch out...the green salsa was spicy! I can't remember the exact name of my entree (Chicken Ruchi?) but it was chicken with spinach and artichoke served with a green salad that had lots of avocado. The chicken was very flavorful, and I highly recommend this dish! The service was a bit sluggish, but nothing to really complain about. My serving was quite generous and I took home about half. My husband had the spinach enchiladas and he did not leave a single speck on his plate.
After lunching at Rita's Mexican Restaurant some months ago, I took the family for dinner on Sunday, 1 September 2019. This was a "miniature road trip" for us.The staff are apparently all completely bilingual. We were greeted and seated promptly. Chips/salsa and our drinks were brought rapidly. The chips are almost certainly baked in their kitchen.I ordered the Enchiladas Trio (3 enchiladas -- cheese, ground beef, shredded chicken -- with beans & rice); my wife ordered a shrimp cocktail (?) without onions; our young son had a cheeseburger with fries (kid's meal). My wife also ordered a margarita. We were unaware that the shrimp order had jalapenos in it. My wife struggled to eat it, then had to stop. The waitress consulted the manager and replaced the order for free. All three of our meals were surprisingly large in size, and very tasty. I shared in my son's cheeseburger & fries, and these were distinctly of higher quality than one would get at a fast-food place or many other casual-dining restaurants. The bill came to a pleasantly low $33. We left full and happy, feeling that we'd received caring attention throughout our visit. We will definitely return to this restaurant, because the food and service are stellar.

Yes they have moved. We were in town to visit family. Staying at LaQuinta. Happened upon this place and it was awesome! Cheese enchiladas and tacos al carbon/fajita and con queso plus a huge bag of chips and salsa on our to go order. Wow! Tons of food and great service and will return when we come back.

My family has eaten at Bob's Taco Station a couple of times, both for breakfast. The first visit, we ordered our usual American breakfast - eggs, bacon, toast. This was the usual, run-of-the-mill food, nothing fancy or extraordinary to talk about. After being told that their breakfast tacos are so good, we went back for breakfast another time and ordered the tacos. They were good and a nice size for the money. To us it wasn't anything special. Beyond that, it is a nice place to eat when you are not looking for anything special.

Really good Tex-Mex. I had a large combination plate. It was displayed very attractively. They used shredded instead of ground beef, excellent taste. The food was five-star. Our waiter (black gentlemen with bright blonde hair) performed his job OK, but seemed to be going for the big tip. We really didn't want a third person at our table. Also, the music was TOO LOUD!
