While the atmosphere is nothing special, the food certainly is! Some of the best we've had outside our visit to Mexico! We've eaten here twice since moving to the area and both visits featured superb food. The chips and salsa starters features freshly made chips and the salsa selection includes a unique, cilantro bases green sauce that is wonderful. My wife had the Tacos Carbon and I had the Tilapia Acapulco. Both dishes were well presented with very large portions and really great taste. The freshly made flour tortillas are also a treat. This is our new go-to Mexican restaurant!

We eat here every so often. The food is pretty good.. service is okay, prices are low and it is clean. Great breakfasts. I'm partial to the Vallarta Omelet... if your looking for quick, good food at low prices this is the place.

If you are in Texas City, Texas and do not eat at Los Aztecas you are missing out! We had lunch there and the food was excellent! Wonderful flavors and still steaming hot when they brought it to our table -it stayed hot throughout the meal, which is a bonus in my opinion. The wait staff was attentive, keeping our iced teas full up and offering to bring condiments and generally making sure everything was satisfactory. We are in the Houston area for a few weeks and we plan to make the drive back to Texas City to eat at Los Aztecas again soon!!Do not miss this gem! Wonderful Mexican food and great service and a great value too!!

We went here on a Friday evening for a light meal with kids. Good place as the kids could play near us while we ate. Nothing special-- very casual place with covered outside eating area. But some pretty good food. Service OK.

Took my cousin to lunch today, she's been rehabing from a dual hip replacement and enjoys good Tex-Mex. Had been here once before and enjoyed the menu. Seat quickly, friendly wait staff, light lunch crowd. Cousin excused herself to the lady's room and came back with a terrible review...smell, lack of handicap usable facility, cleanliness.I went to the men's room and encountered the foul stench of raw sewage. Nothing over flowed, floor appeared clean, but the stench was overpowering. Something that had anyone been in there from the staff, they could not help but notice. Here again, no suitable handicap stool. While the meal was good, the value fair, and the staff/service more than acceptable...I will not return. If the public restrooms are not kept up to standards...I can only imagine what the rest of the back of the house might be. There are other places...they will get my patronage, not Iguana's.

I love the Doritos tacos. Cool ranch had a nice shell, it actually tasted like Doritos but the nacho cheese didn't. Their volcano tacos were delicious. I went to try their churro's and it was the first churro I've ever had and I loved it. I know they have a variety of sauces but if you take take out they only give you mild and don't even ask.

This is probably one of the best Mexican restaurants we have eaten in, the fajitas were really good and freshly cooked and the seasoning was great. The customer service was really good and attentive to all our customers needs, restrooms were clean and they have a big parking lot where you can park.

My husband and I are in town celebrating our anniversary. The google reviews for this place were great so we decided to stop by. You have to try the Marisco Bowl, it was so yummy. The watermelon margarita I had to drink was super refreshing. The service was great, too.
