We stopped in for an early weekday dinner. While there was some good about it, it didnât live up to the hype for us. Pros:- The space is awesome. Itâs very nicely done. - Service was great from everyone. - The carnitas sopas appetizer was outstanding. Thatâs going to be my meal next time. Cons:- I had the Hatch tacos. Though the filling was okay (just okay) I was really disappointed with the blue corn tortillas. Though they purport to be handmade, they really tasted like they were out of a box - kind of bland and flavorless. I lived in NM before, these tasted nothing close to the great ones you can get at even the cheapest roadside diner in NM, much less the high-end places. - My companion had the enchiladas del mar. While the seafood was good, the tortillas were not - they were with out âbiteâ - spongy like Ethiopian bread and not good. If Mi Dia can improve their tortillas, theyâd be up to the hype, but without getting that basic thing right they arenât there. Work on your masa recipes guys. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback! We appreciate knowing where we can improve. We hope that you join us again in the future!
A neighbor told me about this great little place that used to be located by Colleyville Heritage High School, and is now next door to Michael's Keys on Hwy 26 (Grapevine Hwy), and practically in Hurst. Anyway, I base my dining experiences with Mexican restaurants on two things -- their Chile Rellenos (that I ordered for lunch) and their Huevos con Chorizo (when I next go there for breakfast and yes, they serve breakfast :-) Anyway, the Chile Relleno was amazing and as good as I've eaten anywhere and the price was extremely reasonable. Two side notes: (1) the guy in front of us ordered 180 tacos to pick up that evening for a family gathering -- costing over $300; and (2) English speakers were in the minority here, both of which tell me the food is excellent. I'll definitely be back again and often!

Our menu is an invitation on a trip that takes us from Texas and Mexicoâs heartland through the Rest of the Americas, where we integrated flavors that are exciting as well as harmonious, blending traditional cocina Tex-Mex, Mexico and some Latin countries
My husband and I dropped in for dinner tonight and were presently surprised by excellent food and experience! We both had salads with various options; everything was fresh and cooked wonderfully. Prices were reasonable, service was great. Itâs casual and unfortunately for the owner not very busy. So do spread theme word.

I honestly canât say enough good about the food, add to it that almost everything is gluten-free bonus bonus add to it that every employee there is happy to be there! I canât wait until the next time Iâm in town and I will be sure to fill up on tamales again

Laid-back counter-serve Mexican chain with Baja-style tacos & burritos plus gluten-free options. Ultimate fresh mex made your way - exactly as you love it!
The food is good, and somewhat unique. But it's usually busy, so don't go if you're looking to chill on la playaThe experience is more like going through security at DFW airportTheir tortillas are too chewy for me, so they don't Bueno my VidaBut it seems to be a hip place to eat, and I see lots of you families and high school kids there.

A little disappointed on this visit. Had the enchilladas michoacan. Comes with rice and beans with a ranchers sauce and grilled veggies. The veggies were over powering and ranchers sauce too tomato. Just not spicey enough and the rice and beans were Luke warm. Daughter had the chicken burrito which was not hot. Wife had two ticas. Same there. Will come back but not the best this time. Good value, but if was hotter I would have given a better rating.

Real Mexican food is a feast for the senses. From colorful peppers to the sounds of sizzling fajitas all the way to that incredible flavor. Each mouthful is just as much a result of the freshest ingredients as it is a result of the chef's expertise. Abuel
We were a large group, and the service was good. Most of the group enjoyed their dinners, I thought the Durango Burrito was mediocre. The chips are unsalted and fragile, so it's hard to dip salsa. Of the three salsa that are served, one is just tomato, the Verde has just a touch of heat, and the "hot" was barely warm (and none are flavorful). I wouldn't choose to return here. There must be better Mexican food here... So close to Mexico!

Unlike most "mexican " places,Rio Mambo has a wide menu selection including a number of vegetarian selection, fish, and a number of other selection. Best selection around and the food is ,service is good.We got to a number of Mexican places and egis is in our top 1 or2. There is a full bar as well.Of street parking also. There are areas set side where groups could has a little privacy but not a separate room.

It had been over a year since our last visit...was not too impressed. The flour tortillas looked and tasted like out of a package from the grocery store. The steak fajitas were served and the portions seemed smaller - four strips of meat. Meat tasted good and was tender but the flavor did not come through the tortilla and toppings. Great chips and salsa and good service. Was going to order dessert to go but the Apple Pie with Brandy Butter was $12...
