When your ready for a little adventure when passing through Brenham Tx and want a Taco this is the place. Actually located at the corner of N. Park St & Hwy 577 (East Blue Bell Rd) is worth the effort to find this little place. Nothing facy but oh the food is so good. Great prices and some real home made flour tacos. We have had just about everything on the menu and all good.

Twenty people arrived with no reservation yet our wait time was less then ten minutes. We did, however, have to wait for our food. Food was decent, nothing special. No complaints. Staff was pleasant and handled the multiple checks with no problem.

If my Grandma were alive - this would be here restaurant. Usually you will find family members here helping out. I am from Arizona and was raised on authentic Mexican food. Simply the best experience combining menu, atmosphere, service I have found anywhere in the lower 48 states. I am on the road at least 300 days a year averaging 500 or more meals out. Every time I travel thru the area .... I stop here. You should too !

My Husband and I decided to try another Mexican Restaurant for a change since Brenham has so many to choose from. It had been years since we had a meal there. We went on a Friday evening. It wasn't crowded at all but, customers filtered in soon after we were there. The service was good, lots to choose from on the menu. We chose a family platter "Rebecca's Platter". It was filled with lots of veggies of all kinds, 3 types of meat (chicken, beef, an shrimp. Also comes with a plate of goodies to wrap up in a tortilla and a bowl charo beans. We also had an Italian Margirita very good too. The desert was a chocolate ice cream cake of sort. Good also. Prices were of moderate prices. Very affordable for the 2 of Us. Yes we will return for a another meal. They also have a frequent customer card. After so many meals you get dollars off on your next meal. A plus for the customer.

We are a tex mex restaurant in Brenham, TX. We have been serving Brenham and visitors since 1995. Come see us!
My husband and I went here based on reviews. Very disappointed. Salsa very bland, service was terrible, and our taco salads and dinners were worse than Taco Bell. My margarita were Awful and there are no beers on tap.

I started writing restaurant reviews after experiencing many of the places I visited while traveling as much less impressive than the reviews implied, because it gave me the impression businesses and their friends were writing glowing reviews of their restaurants. I had the same feeling with the lunch buffet at Guadalajara. The fajitas, tamales and enchiladas were okay, and the freshly made tortillas in the buffet line were great. Service was also good and the salsa was very tasty. But, the charro beans and a few other buffet items were not that great, and even the sopaipillas tasted like they were cooked in stale grease. And there was no guacamole. Since the price was okay, I might stop in here again if coming back through town already, but I doubt I would go out of my way for a repeat visit. Overall, it was just 'average' to me.

We lucked into this little taqueria while looking for a diner. The parking lot was packed at 10:30 in the morning. We U-turned and came back just as a big olâ pick-em-up truck was leaving. It is a good thing a lot of their business is takeout because they have 10 tables. We had burritos: chili relleno, carnita and a breakfast burrito. All were excellent and large, two would have been fine but they were all so good and we couldnât decide. Another reviewer said that the building has no curb appeal, and that is true, but golly, the food is wonderful and the service fast, fast.

Although the service was good and the folks were friendly, beware of what you order. Their "queso puffs" are nothing more than a little corn tortilla shell/bowl turned upside down with a little cheese sauce poured over it. So, when I ordered a cheese enchilada plate, I expected a 10" tortilla shell for the enchilada and something more for $12. The two "puffs" weren't worth more than the cost of a bit of queso and the enchilada was only 6". The same was true true for Combo plate #4: 3 small tacos(meat, lettuce, tomato, but no cheese) and a "puff" for $13. No sour cream with anything. The salad bar was most reasonable at $7. Neither of us thought the food was anything to brag about. It's the first time I've ever left a Mexican restaurant NOT feeling stuffed!
