After trying this place for the first time early this year, it has now become our go-to place. Very reasonably priced, and they have a good mix of Tex-Mex and American dishes. Have tried lots of different things on their menu (which is odd for me - I usually only go to restaurants for a particular dish that I like there) - chicken burger, enchiladas, fettucine alfredo, etc and it's all very good. Their Pollo Cancun is my favourite though. Only ever had one tiny issue with one of their meals (which was only to do with my personal tastes, there was nothing wrong with the way it was made) and they went out of their way to make it right. Not only did they make me something else, they offered a free desert, which we graciously declined as it really wasn't necessary. The manager then came to speak to us and gave us a card for a free meal the next time we visited. We then come to find they also discounted our bill. They really understand the meaning of customer service and go far beyond expectations. They've even given our kids little fruit snack bags as an extra treat. Yes this place is a little out of the way, but it's most definitely worth it!
Located in the Lighthouse District of Kemah (Toucan Alley), Lil Saul's Tacos is unique by curating an entertaining atmosphere. Fresh ingredients produce our gourmet tacos. Lil Saul's ensures quality and will satisfy your desires one bite at a time.
Thought it was some of the best queso I ever had. Excellent tacos and service was perfect. Canât wait to go back.
3 different kinds of hot sauce (all good), chips and salsa were good. Had an avocado taco and a plantain taco - very good and the prices were very reasonable.
Couldn't believe this hadn't been reviewed on TripAdvisor yet! Probably because people didn't want everyone to find out about it. But the owners are so nice I just had to write in. We have been to Teresa's many times since they opened. Best red and green sauce in town and both served warm. Thick, homemade style corn tortillas and wonderfully flavored food keep us coming back. Or maybe it's the delicious, potent margaritas, or the wonderful wait staff. Whatever it is, we'll be there. Breakfast is also equally good!!The interior murals and artwork is beautiful and transports you to different parts of Mexico. I truly recommend this place!

Senor Sombrero in South Shore/league city is excellent. They have the fabulous Tex-Mex that I yearn for when I am out of state for months at a time. Skip Lunas, definitely drive right on by Taco Bell. Get great food, real service & reasonable prices when you are in the South Shore area. Texas casual.
Bacliff is a good destination for seafood, not Tex Mex. At Anthony's the food is so-so, the servers are a little rough around the edges and the dining room borders on depressing.
Had a nice meal and visited with the owners. The meal was moderately priced, was authentic Mexican, and service was very good. I Had a fish dish with the option of either talapia or red snapper. Definitely get the snapper. I will return to try other dishes in future.
We just ate lunch at Valdo's for the first time. We expected to find a lunch menu with smaller portions and less expensive. Since they did not have a lunch menu we decided on some nachos and one of the Combo plates to share. This was plenty of food for my husband and I. The rice and beans were really great and salsa was very fresh and homemade. We will definitely give them another try.
Very good Mex ... great prices and super food ... real tacos like in Mexico ... The decor reminds me of the old Mexico that I used to travel through ...if you speak even basic Spanish you can have a lotta fun there for lunch ... give it a try

La Brisa is very close to our house but we drive by it to go to other Mexican restaurants. The food is not bad but rather average and uninspired. The best thing about eating there is the free ice cream cone on the way out. Again the food is not really bad but I can think of three or four Mexican restaurants nearby that have better food. Now, if you are looking for a place to drink this may be your place. I don't drink anymore but their bar is huge and lots of people seem to be very pleased to spend their money and enjoy what appears to be a great bar. My opinion is only about food, the bar may be the best thing about La Brisa but I can't express an opinion. The service in the restaurant side seems to be similar to the food - not bad but rather average and uninspired.
