Carinos just doesn't get it. This relatively young company has been through bankruptcy twice now, sold off or closed many stores, and seems determined to slide off into the ditch. When they entered the marketplace I liked them a lot, but after being a semi-frequent customer for a long period their luster is growing more dull every day.I went in on a Thursday at high noon and there wasn't even 10 cars in the parking lot. They have raised their prices on their evening menu so high I won't even go in there any more. Today's lunch specials are more affordable, but this is the first visit where they have completely taken away the free appetizer of a soup or salad. They wanted me to pay for both where not long ago they had only removed the soups. Soup and salad are like for like swaps in most any restaurant today, and usually complimentary with blue plate offerings. The way this store was set up has a lot to be desired. The servers have to order soup or salad from the kitchen and wait for it. They should be able to serve the appetizer without bothering the kitchen. It makes extra delay and complications to the full table service environment, and when they are real busy it gets to be too long. They brought me bread and fresh olive oil which is a Italian tradition I personally don't care for. My lunch came with adequate speed, and the food was very good. My problem with this place is that every visit yields either higher prices or once complimentary items now sold at additional cost. The place is sliding off into the ditch and they are trying to save themselves by hitting the customer for everything they can think up. Next, they're going to ask the guest to rent the silverware. There is so much good Italian food within a mile of this place I sort of believe this is my last visit. Between soaring prices and feeling picked like a chicken I have to re-evaluate why I am patronizing the place. It's obvious from their parking lot that many customers are not thrilled, either. In the past their management was quite hostile and defensive with me when I told them I could not wait 45 minutes to get lunch on the table.I really like some of their recipes, and it would be a breath of fresh air to go in there and find something has gotten better. No such thing has happened in a couple years, and it doesn't look like it's likely. I don't know if I'll ever go back, but I can't recommend them because they cost noticeably more than very good Italian just a couple hundred feet down the highway. I really wish they could turn it around but it doesn't look like it's going to happen.
Weâve gotten pizza from here a few times now and weâve been really pleased. The service is always friendly and the food delicious and with fresh ingredients. The delivery option is good as well.

We had a small book club dinner at Olive Garden. We could not have had better or more friendly service than from Tony. The food was excellent, he made sure we had to go boxes and didnât fuss over separate checks. I was very pleased with the food and the service.
If you're looking for a very reasonable, family friendly Italian restaurant that's BYOB, Dino's is a great choice. We went two nights in a row. First, we had their pizza. As recent NYers we know good pizza and this was one of the best since we've been in Texas. We asked for well-done and the pie was big, cheap and tasty. The next night we had pasta and we were a bit more lukewarm on that. I had Chicken Parm, which was served over spaghetti in a dark red sauce. It was decent. My husband had baked ziti, also decent if nothing to rave about. The house salad is mostly greens with shredded carrots, etc. but seems very fresh and under $3 for a good sized salad. They serve a large quantity of hot rolls; it's not Italian bread (the rolls are soft) but seem homemade and very good. The restaurant is in kind of a funky strip mall; the buildings are all different with character. We had excellent service the first night and rather spotty service the next (it seemed like we had a new server).

Really one of my favorite places, love the stuffed mushrooms, the eggplant parmigiana, the cannelloni. The pizza's are also awesome .. portions are very generous, the owners have been running this place since I could remember in 2000. You will be satisfied with this place ..

We had a party of 20 people and the restaurant did a great job accommodating us. We did have to wait a bit for our table but there was a nice area for us to sit while we waited. There was never ending bread and my entree was delicious. I got the lasagna and couldn't have asked for it to be more tasty. We also got several desserts and they were all good too. There wasn't really anything I would complain about for this visit!

Nikkiâs is a great place to go just to eat. Big portions, good variety, and down home Italian cooking. The cook even accommodates your favorites if they arenât on the menu. They have a big bar with Karaoke and live music. Check the calendar.

We stopped for lunch and had Chicken Parmigiana and Chicken Sunrise, both excellent. The service was fantastic, and the owner came out to see if everything was fine and to talk. There were lots of choices on the menu. The prices for lunch were a little high, however when considering the quality the price was fair. Plenty of parking. We will return.

A good local Italian style restaurant with a consistently good menu. Although the restaurant has probably been in Hurst for twenty years, it is well maintained and clean. The staff is still good and the bar is nice. Salads are fresh. Seafood is excellent and pasta is great. We love the happy hour and the specials they offer. Sunday is happy hour all day. Fun bar.
