I've tried almost every Chinese place in Midland, and each time I've been disappointed! I decided to look on TripAdvisor to see if maybe I've missed one. I sure did! This place is take out only. The food has so much flavor it's amazing and delicious. They give you very large portions. This is definitely my go to Chinese place moving forward. I highly recommend it!

Lots of variety, build your own bowl. I like the garlicky soybean pods as an appetizer. None of the desserts are safe. I'm told the marinated steak is not gluten-free, and of course any fake seafood items would not be, but ask -- usually they have real shrimp, real scallops. Of the sauces, sweet'n'sour and Mongo BBQ are listed as having no wheat in them. For some reason the staff in this place has it in their heads that brown rice contains gluten, and no matter how many times I explain it to them -- even to the managers -- I get an argument every time I order it, but it is, you know, just brown rice.
The Noodle House adds to choices and variety to the restaurant scene in Midland - a MOST welcome addition that is not Mexican, steak, or barbecue offering food that is not smoked, grilled, or deep fried. Yes, noodles are handmade. The kitchen is visible to diners. The menu is small but offers variety. We enjoyed dumplings, spiced seaweed, and noodles with beef that my son and I shared for lunch. I found it amusing that scissors are available to cut the long noodles. The seaweed was delicious. It maintained its firm, almost crunchy texture and was perfectly seasoned - a healthy dish. Dishes are comparable to meals I had in casual restaurants in Chinatown in New York and Philadelphia. The restaurant is small and fills quickly during meal hours. Take out is, of course, available. Traffic is a problem at that very busy intersection. I definitely will return.

Kuo's has a pretty large menu and they offer chicken, beef, veg and seafood dishes. The portions are large and the food is prepared well, presented nicely and tastes very good. Their egg rolls are especially good!
The food is good, but different from most local Japanese restaurants. I've eaten here 4 different times and most of my experiences were good. The ones that were not so good were my own fault. I ordered things off the menu, unsure if I would enjoy them, and I did not, but they were new to me and a little out of my comfort zone. However, when I stay in my comfort zone, the food is consistently good.

I have eaten at this restaurant for 10 times, now, and really enjoy the soup. I particularly like the fresh sprouts and basil served with it. What bothers me about the place is that the service is often inattentive and sometimes downright ignorant. The waitstaff seems to be all teenagers that barely speak English and seem more interested in yakking with each other then paying attention to their customers. I had to wave my hand in the air for nearly 30 seconds to get the attention of someone. It wasnât even my server, who was standing over in the corner talking but just not looking around. If you ask them a question about the food, and it ingredients, they either are wrong or they donât know. For example, when I asked if they use MSG in the food, no one in the restaurant had a clue. If there is a manager even present, they donât seem very interested in helping. My wife has to be very careful about what she eats and since they canât seem to answer any questions, we will have to stop going.

Have eaten at the other location several times and the food was pretty good. After finally finding this location open three of us decided it sounded good. The dining room was packed when we walked in except for one table and it had a few tickets on it. The waitress acted like it made her mad because we moved them over and sat down. She rudely took our drink order. The building was HOT! The sun was blaring on the window and it was miserable in there. We quickly decided that the heat and the rude waitress weren't worth it.

Got there early few other patrons, were treated and seated at sushi bar fairly promptly with our first set of drinks. Sushi staff was clearly disinterested and spent most of time on phones. Staff was unhelpful in answering questions, preferences or trying new options. Watch staff spend 15 mins on phone before making and delivering one of our orders. Sushi was mediocre at best. She ordered cheese cake that was served frozen solid, had to send it back to be thawed. Prices were reasonable, but appropriate for level of quality and service. Need to find a real sushi place somewhere else.

Enjoyed the lunch fare ...ordered the peppered beef and the meat was a little tough but the flavor and vegetables were great, the egg drop soup and egg roll are also good. Service was courteous and prompt and everyone seemed to be enjoying their selections.
