Staff was great. We were greeted by a friendly face and served by an excellent representative of the restaurant. The food was good and my Mom and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a green salad with fruit and My Mom had the chicken salad. Good job, Spoons.

Patina Green Home and Market

Located on McKinney's historic town square, an edgy and timeless antiques shop with gourmet foods and daily locavore lunches by Chef Robert Lyford. Keep an eye out for the highly popular monthly Market Dinners and second Saturday pop-ups with Bob's Tacos.

This is a fun concept. Part lunch counter, part store, all craft. There food is very good, and their flavor combinations are unique. It is expensive. Your eyes will bulge a little when you see the cost of a sandwich. The staff is very indifferent about everything, though that is somewhat generational. Despite this, you're in a for a culinary treat. If you're downtown it's definitely worth trying.

Rye. Craft Food And Drink

I appreciate places like Rye. It has to be tough for an owner to make money from a tiny restaurant that holds maybe 40 people. Rye is located just around the corner from the main square in McKinney. It's a cozy little place with great customer service and atmosphere. Everyone is knowledgeable, friendly and engaged. The serving style at Rye is Tapas, which I struggle with. I love the idea of small plates where you try lots of different dishes. The problem is the a la carte approach usually has very high prices for a bite or two. I rarely get full at Tapas restaurants and usually have a $200 bill to show for it.The food here is five stars. The chef/owner has some real skills. Of the six plates we ordered, I Yam Root was the home run. It's a hash-brown like potato pancake made with all types of roots. It's phenomenal. The tacos, forest floor, pork belly lollipops, brussels sprouts, and rolled flank steak were wonderful.I do like this place and highly recommend it. I'm just not a tapas fan. I was still hungry, but our bill was already up to $150 for four people. Had we all ordered alcoholic drinks and a dessert, it would have been at $200.

This is located in the quaint downtown area of Mckinney TX. The burgers aren't square but they are made from fresh local ingredients (including meat = butcher is approx 2 blocks away...and the meat is free of hormones/etc). These are not fast food burgers

The four of us went here for a late lunch / early dinner on a Friday. It was the perfect time, as we were seated right away. The service was prompt and friendly. There is a good selection of specialty burgers and sides. Specials for the day are on the chalk board. While not on the menu, you can ask for the ‘small’ version of each burger. It comes with a slightly smaller bun and slightly less burger patty. However, it is still a very good sized burger. Sides are extra, and we split onion straws and sweet potato fries amongst us. The burgers were hot, fresh, and juicy. I had the stadium burger, tasty with sautéed onions, lettuce, and tomato. Two small burgers, one side of straws, and two waters was around 25 dollars without tip.

I wish I could give 5-stars, but I just can't. It seemed like servers were passing by our table - a lot - but not stopping. We got waters when we sat down and quite a while later a nice enough girl stopped to take our drink orders. *crickets they finally came and we placed out food orders. Finally got served, then got the bill. Not a whole lot in-between. None of us felt we got good service and honestly can't say we would recommend visiting again, as there are so many excellent restaurants in the vicinity. Too bad. We wanted it to be a great experience.

We met a friend at Hutchin’s BBQ on Sunday after Clemson’s Cotton Bowl WIN. The brisket and sides were delicious. We were comparing to Black’s, which we had in September 2018 when in the New Braumfels area for the CLEMSON vs T A&M game. Blacks was awesome, but Hutchin’s was equallly enjoyable.

My gf Stacey took me to this amazing place. She frequents it often. The ambiance was outstanding with the fabulous decor, dark setting, great music and beautiful staff. We had delightful jumbo prawn cocktails and delicious crab dip. They have amazing craft cocktails and Megan, bartender, is quite the hottie. My husband would laugh at that remark. I highly recommend this gem!!!

The Golden Chick chain is a favorite of mine. Last night we stopped here on our way home from a trip to East Texas. My daughter had a chicken sandwich, macaroni and cheese and some gravy. She loves the spice packets they give you and adds them to her gravy. My husband had the chicken strips with gravy and a side salad. I had the three-piece chicken with cole slaw. The rolls they give you are very tasty and they come pre-buttered. We had a lot of food left over and we got to-go boxes. They are primarily a takeout place, but they do have a few tables if you prefer to eat inside. We would go back here.

This place started off as a butcher shop and opened the restaurant recently. We started with the Pickles and the Pig, as well as the smoked onion dip. Both were good, with the sausages (the Pig) being the highlight. I ordered the 6oz Wagyu sirloin and it was one of the best steaks I’ve had in a while. The chicken fried steak and burger were also very good. The only misstep was the side of green beans. They were too sweet, and the sweet overpowered the bacon that was clearly in them. Stick with other sides and you will definitely enjoy your meal.
