I have been to some really great Cheddarâs. Unfortunately Port Arthur is not one of them. We continue to tell ourselves we arenât going back. I think this is it...for real! While the servers & menu selections are great, the kitchen is always messed up, the silverware is dirty more times than not & there is a perpetually terrible smell in the bar area. It is a general overall feeling of uncleanliness. The last visit included a dirty glass, silverware & hair between the salmon & bed of rice. Itâs just not acceptable.

By far the best Tonys around. Drive here because the staeks are the best. Cooked like you asked served hot and fresh.

Excellent sandwiches, soups, and kids selections. As an adult lunch selection, great sandwiches and soups; good salad bar. Kids selections include grilled cheese, mac and cheese, chicken tenders. The only thing they could do to make it more family friendly is offer a Jasons kids meal with a prize. I've purchased countless McDonalds Happy meals that were awful; BUT they had a prize. I can attest to the fact their chicken tenders stink! The kids eat french fries, yogurt and apple slices. I end up eating leftover chicken nuggets. Yuck!!

A go to favorite if you are craving brisket, ribs, turkey or chicken. Although the brisket is great, the turkey is my choice. Very flavorful, moist and serving size is vet filling. Great ribs if you are a fan. A nice sweetness in the rub and little salt makes them fabulous. Great sides, and the rolls and jalapeño bread are good too. Highly recommend!

If you like seafood and open air dining this place can't be beat. You won't stumble on it, it is off the beaten path. But make the extra effort and you will be pleasantly entertained and fed.

I can always rely on The Schooner serving fresh and excellently prepared seafood. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because the decor is a little old, but The Schooner is very good and very reliable. I'm not sure about the handicap accessibility as far as details are concerned but my husband is on a walker and sometimes a wheelchair and he had no problems.

We have always had a great experience at Saltgrass. For the first time, the service was slow. The restaurant was not crowded and they seemed to have plenty of staff. Also, this was the first time the manager did not stop by our table to see how things were going. Hopefully service will be back up to par next time we visit.

Live music and cold beer weâre at the top of our agenda. Bartender was super friendly and accommodating. We checked out the buffet, but decided against it. It was a lot of fried food and some gloopy looking pasta. Carb lovers dream! :) Good menu selection.

Texas Roadhouse is a steak restaurant providing legendary food with legendary service. Texas Roadhouse specializes in hand-cut steaks, fresh-baked bread, fall-off-the-bone-ribs, and made-from-scratch sides. We also serve ice cold beer and legendary margar
Went because we had a gift card. Food is good, they have better prices than most steak houses in the area. Went at 5pm, 1 hour after they opened. Most servers are scheduled for 5pm. According to hostess most servers were late. Already had a 5-15 minute wait based on when late servers would arrive. Hostesses seemed confused with the seating chart. Manager got involved. He was less attentive than the hostesses & we still waited. By now people are walking in & being directly seated while we & 2 other complete parties still have buzzers waiting for a seated. We would have walked out if it werenât for the gift card. We are seated after waiting 20 minutes for servers to arrive late. Ribeye was tough. Sirloin was tasty & tender. Enjoyed the potato. A floor manager stopped by our table before leaving. She was attentive & nice. While it was appreciated, we donât plan to return. We avoided TR for more than 2 years before today. Will continue to avoid after today. Observation: servers are allowed to wear shorts, some shorter than others. While I donât object to the shorts I do think it is unclean for wait staff to dig at the shorts & flesh from every angle because they are too tight & crawling. Attire should be reconsider for hygiene purposes. Beware: you must walk through the parking lot with your head down & with a keen eye lest you trip. Landscape rocks are strewn about everywhere. Texas Roadhouse policy is for an employee to walk the perimeter EVERY day before opening to observe & remove rocks, trash, etc. I challenge them by declaring they do NOT!

Super casual atmosphere. The menu is a welcomed change of pace for us. Ordered fried ribs & chicken fried steak. Both were great, ribs were a WOW fall-off-the-bone delicious. Green beans had a different yet tasty spin from the norm. Food came out quickly, server, Dale was attentive & pleasant. Will be back.
