Oops! Broke the diet! But man was it worth it! Those strawberry cream pancakes are fantastic!! The wait staff was friendly and efficient. I did go at about 4pm so there weren't many customers, but the food came out fast. The restaurant was clean. Well worth the trip in, and I'll be back when I pass through Mt. Pleasant again.

I consider this one of top 4 places in town to eat. It is generally quite crowded and even when it isn't---the food seems to take longer than anywhere else we have eaten. Service varies. There is on very good waiter-maybe named Jose, but not positive. Everything we have gotten there has been good w/ the exception of hamburgers after they first opened. Have not tried one since then. The place is clean. It is quite dark so I have had to go to a window at times to read the menu.

We've never had any bad fish. I can't comment on other dishes because we always eat fish. It is crispy so if you like a very moist fish--this isn't for you. The place is not fancy & could use some updating. There are tables/chairs, or hardback booths & a separate dining room which is a little more private as the place is generally full.

While staying in MtPleasant we ordered carry out dinner from Applebeeâs. The ordering process on line worked well since we received correct order. I went to location designated for carry out and be one came over for about 5 minutes. Finally a waitress came over and said she would get carry out person. Came back several minutes later and said she would try again. Our order finally came out so I could leave. All this time, I was standing next to the bar which was thick from smoke. Rest of restaurants was non smoking but this area it was allowed. Waitress also noted heavy smoke presence. When we finally ate the food was good but nothing special.

Vaughan's is always a reliable place to eat good ole catfish. We it the all you can eat usually. It comes with French fries, hush Puppies ( you can forget my fries I just want these), slaw, tomato relish and sliced one if you want it.Always ready to go back!Or the not fish eaters they have Shrimp, and other things, but it is Friday catfish for this girl!
Buffet was great, especially the fried chicken and peach cobbler. Drink and dessert were included. Patrons and staff were friendly. We wanted a good meal before our drive back to San Antonio.

Nardello's continues to surprise me every time I go there. New items are always being offered to see if the public likes them - imagine catering to the needs of your customers and even adding new customers! New pizzas, new sandwiches, new wines and craft beers, and now a new mega-tavern board loaded with cheeses, pickles made on site, a variety of spicy olives, and salami. Along with the great food and drink the service is very good, with wait staff who know all about the food, the preparation, and the ingredients. All this and a great friendly atmosphere! I can't wait to go again and see what's new!

Yum! Order at the counter and sit and wait for your food. The chicken sandwich and the cheeseburger was great. The fries seem like they freshly cut them, not sure but guessing, and didn't taste that good. Not much flavor but the side of cheese helped. I enjoyed the experience and atmosphere. Casual restaurant. Cute place and will return.
