We went in for dinner and really enjoyed it. We tried the Honey BBQ, Garlic Parmesan and the Teriyaki flavors. All were great my favorite being the Parmesan followed by the BBQ. I also tried the cheese sticks and they too had a great flavor. I will say that do need to keep working on getting orders out faster. Overall we really liked the food and service. We’ll be going there again.

This restaurant serves comfort food and does what it does very well! It probably won't make anyone's "best dining" list but it isn't going for that. It serves the local population with reliably well-cooked and tasty lunches and breakfasts. It is not open for dinner.

I went here with a friend on Dec 11th 2018. We were trying it out for the 1st time as we love trying new small businesses at lunch. We especially like the made from scratch and Farm to Table type restaurants. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. The place is cute, clean and in the small Historic District of growing Liberty Hill, Texas just north of Austin Texas. I live in neighboring Leander, Texas and traveled down County Road 279 also known as Bagdad to get there. Most people would take 1869, Highway 183 or Highway 29 to get to the area. I am dieting or may have tried more items but as it was my salad was loaded with goodies and the dressing, house made Bleu Cheese was excellent. The salad was crisp, colorful, extremely fresh and well executed. The Tomato Basil soup was delicious and had homemade croutons! YUM! The picture does not do it justice! I also had hot tea as it was a cool day. I was offered and assortment and chose green tea. My friend had a Grilled Cheese lunch with some salad. Hers was a really big plate. So much so that she could not finish it. Of course, she is a light eater. The restaurant is offering pies and cookies for the Christmas Holidays. I may order some for clients in my Real Estate business. We will definitely go back! My friend and I really enjoyed Malted Grains! We are "foodies" and love exploring. We both are travelers and my friend has lived in numerous states and places. We both have traveled to different European countries as well as counties on this continent. I am hoping to take my husband to explore their gluten free choices. I asked if they have gluten free pizza and at this time they do not but I will explore their options for hime for beer and food.Thank you for coming in - I am thrilled to hear you enjoyed your lunch! We hope to see you again to get some of those pies and maybe try a slice sometime. Enjoy your holidays!

A burger joint with great burgers, onion rings, and coffee. The best onion rings you will get anywhere. Lightly breaded and fried; quite tasty. The burgers are great and come with grilled onions. The place is small but usually can find a table. Well worth the drive from nearby Georgeton.

Went for lunch with friends on an early Saturday afternoon, and the place was humming. Lots of diners seated in both the outside an inside dine areas. Lamanda was our sever and she was great. We ordered the sweet trotters and the zydeco dip. The sweet trotters was my favorite, and next time will have that as my meal!I ordered meatloaf and was disappointed. Huge piece that was flavorless except for what tasted like marinara sauce smothered on top. I scraped it off but that did not do much to improve the taste. The mashed potatoes tasted like a baked potato with gravy which I really liked. Also loved the mac and cheese. The best part was pie for dessert. I had key lime and also had a bite of my friend's hillbilly pie which was a delight! We also tasted buttermilk pie and enjoyed that as well.Fun visit in an out of the way setting. Clean place and friendly service. I will be back!
