Debbieâs is open for breakfast and lunch and my grandsons and I ate lunch there on our way out of town. They have a good âdown-home â menu. I had a BLT with onion rings that was really good. My kids got chicken fingers with homemade fries and corn dogs. My 8 year old LOVED the homemade fries! They offer a buffet every day as well. Thank you so much for your patronage! We look forward to serving your family again!

I love breakfast. Fried eggs, hash browns, bacon - the works. Big Cup knows how to deliver on that... so much so that I've eaten here twice while visiting a friend in town. Their Migas are excellent too. Not so crazy about their big biscuit (claim to fame) because it's too big and unmanageable when you try to eat it. But I'm sure some people can finish it off. Service was excellent and I highly recommend Big Cup.

This was our second trip to Rough Creek Lodge for a day trip. This time we planned dinner as part of our day. The dinner is Chef G. Thompson's creation and the menu is changed daily for all meals. There is a herb garden on property and Chef Thompson sources much of the fresh, farm to table elements to create his excellent cuisine. The quail appetizer was perfectly cooked with a smoky and peppery taste and sent me in a food high. I chose the salmon as my entrée and my husband chose the grilled filet. Perfection to the palate, sums it up. The desserts-are incredible, rich and decadent with perfectly prepared. While our husbands fished all day, my friend and I decided to have lunch. Another dining experience that indulged our taste buds with sensational and well prepared food. On another note, the cocktails are mixed to perfection and add a great accompaniment to lunch and pre-dinner.

Inn on the River is a Bed and Breakfast, but also has fine dining on Friday and Saturday nights and general public is welcome in their dining room. BYOB, no corkage.
We went for a business lunch, and could not have been more pleased. The preset menuâs fish tacos were incredible, as were the flavorfully seasoned rice and the black beans that accompanied the main dish. The fruit tea served with lunch was refreshing, and the hand pie and ice cream desert was so good that the entire table cleared their plates. Add in that the service was 5-Star and the views over the rolling lawns were beautiful, and you have a perfect lunch destination. They were my favorite meal in Glen Rose and will be high on my list for future visits.Thank you so much Katheryn. What a treat to have you all here for lunch and we are so happy you enjoyed it. Give us a call and we can prepare any lunch you like for groups of 10 or more.Thank you again,Mike

Late lunch on a week day. The fried catfish was excellent, not greasy. The blackened catfish was good but not as good as the fried. Also the Sri plate with fried catfish had 2 fillets, the regular plate only one. Veggies good. Bread good. Tea very good. Food arrived quickly. Service was very good

The sampler appetizer consisted of fried pickles, fried jalapeños and onion rings. It was very good and plenty for 4 people. The burgers are very tasty (mine was the green chili cheddar burger). It is also pretty big. One of the best butters around, thoroughly enjoyed. Not a lot of atmosphere as it is a converted gas station.

Our family owned restaurant offers small town hospitality within a renovated historic home located just one block from the quaint downtown area of Glen Rose. Chef and owner, Milan Olejnik, Jr, puts thought and detail into each dish he prepares. With fresh
My boyfriend and I stayed the weekend at Inn on the River, which is right across the street from this place. The owner of the inn made us a reservation, and we absolutely loved it. The food was delicious, and the staff super friendly. The service was great, and the cocktails and dessert were amazing. We will definitely be back.

BBQ was pretty good but the sides were fantastic and the portions were large. Went on a Friday night of a holiday weekend and even though it was crowded, there was plenty of seating and our food came out in a reasonable amount of time.

We will be OPEN ALL WINTER.
We always enjoy the Loco Coyote. The portion sizes are huge and the food is good. We like to go on Saturday evenings when they have a band. Our favorite is the Back Road Drifters. Expect a long wait on Saturday nights (an hour is normal). That is why we go early and relax with a beer, while listening to the music. This last time SYDNEY was our waitress and she did a great job. Canât wait to go back.

Welcoming and friendly atmosphere. We came for lunch and sat at the Game Table where my granddaughter and I played checkers. I tried their Reuben soup along with a Reuben sandwich. I had never even heard of Reuben soup but it was delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. It is well worth a visit.
