Stopped for a late lunch while on vacation. It was almost closing time so it was pretty quiet when we got there. I'm glad it happened that way because we got to meet George the owner and he gave us a good run down of the menu. I was excited to see selections I've never tried or heard of. I went with the Spicy Shrimp and bacon eggrolls. WOW! The blended flavors in these eggrolls left me wanting more. Delish My husband had the Las Vegas sandwich done as a salad which he said was fresh and tasty. Both orders came with chips and a drink and total was $17. Hard to find fresh, tasty food at that price. We heard the bacon chocolate chip cookies are the bomb but he had already sold out of those so George apologized and blessed us with the last strawberry cheesecake cookies for free. They were melt in your mouth yum. Great food, fast and friendly service leaves me highly recommending this place and we will definitely be back when in the hill country again.
So, we went to TJ's one day after helping to set-up for the "Wild Hog Explosion", the major fund raiser for the Bandera Kronkosky Library. It is clear in driving by TJ's daily that the locals are supporting it, cuz the lot is full for breakfast and lunch. They have moved into what I would call the "main street diner" category, though limited to breakfast and lunch. The competition in town I suspect is noticing a decrease in their patronage. My compadres had full meals which they enjoyed. I had a BLT on toasted wheat the was average. Would I return? Yep, and the next time it will be to sample breakfast...the lot is always full!

This was actually our second visit to Samantha's. The first was right after their grand opening. The food on both visits has been excellent but the wait staff is in great need of help. Not that they did not try they just need some good old fashion training and management. This would be a great place to dine in Bandera if they could accomplish that one task.

Arrived to the Coop after a nice float on the Medina. The atmosphere is super comfortable and relaxed. The food was AMAZING! We had the diablo chicken/chicken burger and the Texas dip. All of it was top shelf. Service was good as well. Love this little gem.

We stopped here but won't go back--for a barbeque place they didn't have many choices--to my memory, only 1-2 meats--no baked potato. Didn't seem to want to be a barbeque restaurant. Strange vibe the day we were there...ZinnHouston, Thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant. At Sid's we offer a variety of meats: sliced and chopped brisket, pulled pork, sausage, smoked turkey, ribs and pork loin. On Monday, Wednesday and Thursday we offer a stuffed baked potato with chopped beef. Hope you come back and give us another try. As a family owned and operated restaurant, we truly care about our customers and the experience they have. Sincerely, Brick G.

Full service restaurant serving steak, pasta, full salad bar with all you eat baked potato and fresh soups. Daily specials. Visit us on line for menu details.
We had a huge lunch but managed to chow down on six very tasty fried shrimp and a huge fried fish one evening. I didn't want french fries so I substituted fried okra because they were out of the sauteed spinach. However the french fries were really good. How do I know? Some of them hopped on my plate when my husband was looking elsewhere. The coleslaw was very good and was just enough. They do have a bar for thirsty diners. Would go back if I was in the neighborhood again.
