I came here often during my stay in Terengganu and was pleasantly surprised. The srvice was excellent, staff friendly and above all the food was excellent. The staff offered suggestions for me to try and I was very pleased with their choices. The prices were very reasonably also. Really good place.
Arrived late in KT and spent a terrible night in a terrible hotel with a terrible breakfast buffet (shall remain unnamed - see other reviews...). Belly's rumbling, The Great Googlez brought us to Kedai Roti Canai Hot Hot. It was heaven - and still is. We missed our flight home and decided just to live here and eat Hot Hot Roti Canai here for the rest of our lives. Service is impeccable, taste is astounding, texture is perfect, cari ayam is beyond fantastic and the roadside stall is very, very scenic.

Restoran Ocean seems to be the most popular chinese restuarant among the Chinese community in Kuala Terengganu. We were invited to three dinners in the very same restaurant within the week of our visit. The food and service were decent, but had nothing to shout about. A good place in Kuala Terengganu if you crave for decent chinese food in a Muslim state.

The food is great! Try the squid steam with soup, and also the laksam. Tuka grilled is also quite nice! The location is just opposite of waterfront and the ambience is nice. At the back its connected to Chinatown! Considering that its somehow a fusion, i am well statisfied with the food!

We ordered one set of their famous roti pau, thinking it would be a big portion kind of bread but... Please look at the picture for your reference =) We thought one bread would be able to feed three person (as shown in the pic in the restaurant and some reviews from websites) but... Please look at the picture once more for your reference =) Taste wise... Normal? Yes, normal toasted buns with butter and kaya. Note: May be we are just unlucky to get the smallest bread? XD

The atmosphere of this restaurant is okay and quite a number of tables were occupied by families. We ordered western as well as Thai style food. But we found that not all the food were delicious. The Pataya fried rice I ordered was a bit flat. Need improvement. However, the ABC ice kacang did win our praise. Price wise a little bit high. Service okay.
I had the curry mee. It's quite flavorful. While it might not be the best curry mee ever, it's a pretty good one. The price is quite reasonable too. Highly recommended.

Our group of seven had six dishes with rice and drinks. Our bill came to about RM138, so averaging about RM20 per person. We thought it was reasonably priced as the servings were large. Food taste was generally above average. We especially liked the deep fried calamari with salted egg. The least liked dish was the lemon chicken. We were there after the lunch hour crowd has dissipated so service was quick.
