Friendly, Laid Back Owners and Beautiful Resort
Reviewed By Dacia VThis was my husband and I's first trip camping without the kids or an agenda this year. Being newer to the travel trailer world, we're getting used to campsites where there isn't much privacy. Not the case here. The campsite that we enjoyed at Eagle Ridge blew us away! It was huge and beautiful and we weren't on top of our neighbors. The campground is well kept. We didn't use the shower house or stay in a cabin so I can't speak to those. We enjoyed chatting with the owners and some of the seasonal campers. Everyone was so laid back. They have plenty of kayaks, paddle boards, and many other activities for people to enjoy. They even have a playground and a small lodge with games and a television. We chose to head out to the Moliv Maze MTB trail and enjoy some quality kid free and pet free time. This is by far one of our favorite campgrounds and we plan to return again and again.

Well managed vacation spot
Reviewed By johnop2016Two couples camped on picturesque level sites for a week to enjoy a clean & safe outdoor vacation during the pandemic. All precautions and protocols were taken by the owners to provide a safe environment. Most of the sites are seasonal but if you can get a reservation, we highly recommend it. We rented the pontoon boat several times for fishing and enjoying the sun on the large lake. Although the boat was said to be several years old, it looked and operated like brand new. The many amenities were also in great shape. The owners keep everything in perfect.

Birch Haven Resort is a classic Northern Minnesota Resort. Located just North of Bemidji on beautiful Gull Lake. Offering excellent fishing and a relaxing get away for the family. Each cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, grill, picnic table & more. The beach is sandy, a sandy bottom lake with gradual slope. Free of charge is a kayak & paddle boats. Other activities include volleyball, horseshoes & tetherball. Lodge offers ice, ice cream, pizza, bait, light grocery & souvenirs. Birch Haven is located at the end of the road so there is no thru traffic; it’s tranquil so you are able to truly enjoy Northern Minnesota’s greatness. Birch Haven Resort – it’s a hard place to leave~
Up North Experience
Reviewed By Glenda4724Recently spent a few days at Birch Haven Resort with my 30 year old son and 83 year old father. We had a very special time at the resort. I rent vacation properties at least annually. I have never had a better experience. The owners were the most accommodating, friendly and helpful people I have ever met. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The cabins are "up north" cabins I remember at other resorts as a child. They have everything you need and were very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this resort.

Excellent place to relax and recharge
Reviewed By Chris KThis is a place that we come to relax and recharge. I have been coming to CRL for 5 years and my wife has been coming up here for the past 55 years. The resort has something for everyone. We come up to fishing and to Kayak. The cabins have everything you need. I enjoy cooking and I am able to do that during our stay. We enjoy coming up in September. Things are starting to wind down at the resort. We have meet a lot of wonderful people over the years. It's great to see them throughout the years. The owners Marc and Jen are great and very personable.

Great Fishing
Reviewed By Taia FYou can rent a boar and go to some of the best fishing of bass, walleye and sunfish. YOu can limit out your catches . Great hosts and nice country cabins. There are water toys for the kids and cookouts and a great fish fry with all the trimming at the lodge.
