We serve Southern style food including made from scratch biscuits, collard greens, hand battered and dipped country fried steaks. Homemade cakes and ice cream. Our omelets and Backwoods Benedict are a few of our breakfast menu items. Our pigtail macaroni
A glimpse into the past in a charming restaurant. We were there for lunch, so I can't comment on breakfast, which many reviewers liked very much. Breakfast is not served after 11AM, but the menu looked very inviting and quite substantial. And keep in mind, lunch is not served after 2PM, and they mean it. It is a small town, although popular with tourists, so it is reasonable that the hours be limited. We had melted ham and cheese, with side orders of chips (very good, apparently home made) and fried onion rings (very good and very hot). However, everything was overdosed in salt (which is not uncommon in cuisine around here), which might also be a function of the ham. So make sure you've taken your blood pressure medication. The prices are quite good, but I was confused by the charge for the extra side, which was the fried onion rings. Leiper's Fork is a charming town, with anitque shops and the Barney Fife and Dukes of Hazard cars greeting you as you drive in.Hi West side kid, Thanks for your review. We definitely serve lunch after 2pm. The only thing we stop serving early is breakfast, the rest of the menu runs all day. Glad you enjoyed your visit. Come back and try our breakfast, you wonât be disappointed

Saw Beacon Light Tea Room featured on Tennessee Crossroads and thought weâd try it out! It is very small and cozy with 3 rooms of tables. Itâs where the locals go to eat! They start with biscuits served with butter, peach and strawberry preserves. They have a full menu and breakfast is served all day. Theyâre best known for their fried chicken and country ham. Entrees come with two sides. We had the country ham, (which was delicious) fried apples, grits and fries. We had more than enough to take some home for country ham biscuits in the morning.

Established in 1951 and currently serving more than half a million guests a year, the Loveless Cafe is a Nashville landmark that remains true to its Southern flavor. Its welcoming neon sign on Highway 100 promises hot biscuits and country ham every day, d
We went on a Saturday morning. Waited about an hour but there are a few gift shops that you can wander thru so it does make the wait time go fast and it gives you time for a good photo op! We had to wait awhile for the biscuits since they had just run out then I think our waitress forgot to bring them to us when they were ready so we were "biscuitless" for a good while but once they got there we understood why they are known for them. Just the perfect biscuit! Breakfast was good, nothing spectacular except the cheese grits!!! There is a window you can go watch as the guy makes and cuts out the biscuits.
why don't they put meat on there sandwiches? I'm not a rabbit, I want more than jut lettuce. the lettuce was good though.
Jeffersons is one of the only sit down restaurants in Fairview that isnât Mexican. They have a small, limited bar with a few beers on tap. The menu is mostly bar food, burgers, wings and sandwiches. They do have a few salads (iceberg lettuce no dark greens) and dinner platters. The fried pickles are delicious. You can get a half order that is still a good size appetizer. The food is pretty good and they take to go orders too.

For more than 65 years Denny's has been bringing people together over great food. It's the place where people can relax and be themselves; where they can enjoy classic American comfort food and everyday value. 24 hours a day. 365 days a year. Here, you ca
We stopped at this Denny's in our travels and ordered the Berry Pancakes. They came with dried blueberries in the batter. Yes there were fresh berries and banana on top but the pancakes tasted terrible with the faux berries in the batter. The eggs were also overdone and dry. On top of that the service was poor. The waitress had a trainee with her. They took forever to take our order and after they delivered the food we couldn't find them again. It's not like the place was crowded. This was about 10:00 AM the the breakfast rush was over and the lunch rush had not yet arrived. Cross this place of our list
