This is what a great dining experience should be !!! I agree completely with the other reviewers, Henrietta Red is one of the best restaurants in Nashville. Food and service. We had a nice table and the best server Teddy T. He was so nice and welcoming and really knew how to provide great service. It is so nice to find someone who is passionate about their job. My husband had questions about the oysters and he went and checked to be sure my husband got the type with the flavors he wanted. I had a delicious lump crab salad, fresh and very tasty. We both had the grouper, cooked to perfection, moist, well seasoned and nicely portioned. We also had an order of their wood fired bread that we enjoyed. For dessert I wanted the coconut cake, but without one of the toppings. Teddy gladly went to talk to the pastry chef who said she could do it. I also wanted the sherbet in a separate dish for my husband and Teddy was glad to do that too. It is so nice to find a restaurant with not only good food but great servers who actually are happy you are there and want to make sure you are having a wonderful time. Isn't that why we all go out?

Unbelievably rude and horrendous staff who ridiculed me and another family member consistently. I spoke to the manager who brushed us off and made disparaging remarks directly to my face. I would not recommend anyone go to this horrible place.

My wife and I were here for dinner before an Opry show, the aquarium was beautiful, thatâs where it stopped. We got fried calamari, no flavor, I got broiled captains platter and my wife grilled shrimp, nothing had flavor, everything overcooked and rubbery. The stuffed crab was just wet mush along with the stuffed shrimp with no actual seafood in stuffing. I loved seafood, I couldnât eat it, I rarely complain, but actually made me lose my appetite and feel sick.

Our Steaks Are Prime, Our Portions Big & Our Drinks Stiff. Since the opening of the first Bobâs Steak & Chop House in Dallas, Texas, in 1993, the name âBobâsâ has been synonymous with a great steakhouse experience. Building on the reputation we earned at
This restaurant is a nice place. The setting is elegant, and the food is really good. It's a little expensive, but all steak houses these days are. They have an exceptional wine list. Our waiter was able to make recommendations that suited our tastes and budget. Their menu choices are extensive and are quality meats and fish. I had fried jumbo shrimp (and they were BIG), and my wife had trout that was filleted and skinned. Both were excellent. The location is very convenient for entertainment venues; we were going to a concert at the symphony hall, and it is blocks away from Bridgestone Arena, Country Music Hall of Fame, and the Amphitheater, not to mention 4 blocks south of Lower Broadway (the Nashville Strip). Highly recommend. I doubt you will be disappointed. Thank you for dining with us and for your excellent feedback! We sincerely appreciate your business and that we were able to accommodate your pre-concert meal. We are fortunate to be so centrally located near all of Nashville's major downtown attractions, our complimentary valet for diners is also convenient for that worry free night out!

Before we left Nashville we had to try some fried Catfish. I read up on a few places and settled on Uncle Budâs Catfish, Chicken, and Such. Itâs nowhere near the tourist traps found downtown and caters to the locals in Donelson County, which is about 20 minutes from the city centre. As soon as you are seated, your server arrives with the âfixinâsâ...pickles, hush puppies, warm white beans and coleslaw. These sides are replenished endlessly throughout your meal. They are all freshly made in house but be careful not to fill up on them because the mains are huge. We tried the catfish-fried chicken combo which includes 2 filets and 2 pieces of country fried chicken and fries. The food arrives piping hot and our server was so friendly and surprised we found this spot. The catfish is moist with a crunchy cornmeal breading and the chicken is cooked to perfection...juicy inside with a lightly seasoned crispy coating. No craft beers to be had here but a cold Budweiser made a great accompaniment. Do yourself a favour and hit up Uncle Budâs while you are visiting the area!

Eclectic Coastal Menu with Southern flar.
A few of us decided to grab a late lunch/early dinner and we thought weâd give Urban Grub a try. We arrived between meals so we were told to grab a table in the bar area. The table we sat at was right in front of a window so that we could see outside and what was happening in 12 South. The food was really good. I ordered the chicken carbonara, my daughter ordered spaghetti, our friends ordered lobster flatbread and a salad. Mine was delicious but my daughter wasnât impressed with her spaghetti. That was no fault of the restaurant, just not the kind she had envisioned. Our friends said their meals were great. The service was really good and the staff was friendly. The only reason I didnât rate it higher was how expensive it was for the size of the portions. However, I would definitely give it another try!

Selected in 2018 as a TOP 50 Best Southern Restaurant in USA by a major customer review app, Midtown Cafe remains since 1987, an iconic local and nationally ranked casual fine dining destination just off West End and Broadway in the Midtown / Vanderbilt/
We stumbled across the Cafe while exploring and while it was full we waited for 10 minutes or so for a table. There is a small bar and low ceiling a somewhat cosy dining space. There are tablecloths and nice napkins. The staff were friendly and attentive. the meatloaf was enormous but there were dishes you could have had that were lighter, like the avocado on toast.Good place for lunch. Thanks for your gracious thoughts on your lunch with us recently! Since 1987, we have served consistently prepared ingredients served by industry professionals to offer great value and quality to our local regulars as well as the number of hotel travelers that have been growing in recent years. Join us for breakfast / brunch/ or dinner on your next visit to Music City. Best wishes!Randy Rayburn Owner/Manager

When we first arrived we were told that our table was not ready yet-but were told we could get a drink in the lounge. There just happen to be 3 seats at the bar so we decided to cancel our reservations in the restaurant and sit at the bar. Best decision ever! The upfront seat to 2 amazing musicians was so incredible. Our bartender/wait staff were outstanding as well. Our filets were so tasty and grilled to perfection. The scallops over brussel sprouts and cauliflower were so tasty with the maple glaze. Just outstanding!! I cannot say enough great things about the meal we had this past weekend. I will definitely be back!!
