Impressive positioning looking over the lake with many good views from inside the air conditioned dining room and some outdoor seating. Unique calamari dish with yellow peppers (hard to tell which were peppers and which were calamari...although it was an interesting taste would have preferred a larger percentage of calamari and the calamari was not as tender as we like). Prime rib was delicious and so was the cod. Wait staff was friendly and efficient.

My wife and I don't eat out often because we usually find something that takes away from our expectations. However, the Greenback Drug Store and Diner (no longer a drug store at all) did meet our expectations. I'd give it five stars, but our expectations weren't very high.

Though Toqua Cafe is not open for dinner, it makes up for that by serving a great breakfast and lunch. In the seven years we've been eating there we have rarely had an issue.The service is always outstanding and many of the servers have been there for the entire time we've lived here, which says a lot for their work environment.The only issue we've had is that several times what we've ordered didn't arrive prepared as ordered. I tend to think this problem occurs in the kitchen since I've been shown the order check and it was correct. Regardless, no one wants to send an order back to be re-cooked while the other person either eats alone or waits and their meal gets cold.Still, it's a great place to eat and we frequent it often. The manager, Kim, is quite possibly one of the most efficient and professional and pleasant restaurant managers we've ever known.

great menu, good food and it's outside tables on the water and the staff is super friendly. what else could you want?we came for lunch and had burgers and a chicken sandwich. the cheeseburger was delicious, but someone's hand slipped with the pepper when seasoning the chicken --- but it was cooked perfectly and i'll bet it would have been good otherwise. the potato salad was very good and it was delightful to sit and watch the boats with a friend.

A nice place to stop for breakfast on your morning commute to work in Blount or Knox Counties...or on your way over to the mountains if you are driving south. The service here is generally quick enough. My only complaint, which I have shared with the management, is that the mix on the soft drinks (especially the Coke Zero) seems a little light on the drink syrup.

On a referral from a friend, we stopped on the way back from Pigeon Forge Tenn. we were not disappointed , fish and shrimp were outstanding, service was good and the sweet tea was outstanding.

This was our first visit and my husband and I both enjoyed our pork sandwiches. I had a side of sweet potato fries that I enjoyed almost as much as my sandwich. Portions are good and the prices are reasonable. Our server was friendly and efflicient.
