This is a basic Waffle House with not a lot of frills. I ordered and steak and eggs. The steak was tasty but overdone from the medium rare I requested. I sat at the bar but the waitress seemed cold and distant. I'd come here again but it wasn't outstanding but just a basic diner experience.
very crowded sat at bar. server that wiped off bar said someone would be with us shortly. never did. the 1st server apologized & took care of us. everyone was extremely busy so we understood. food was good

I cant recall the name of the dish i ordered, but it had hashbrowns, peppers, onions & mushrooms covered with crumbled sausage, eggs & cheddar. Also came with a side of toast. It was delicious! Service was fast & friendly. The outside of the building tells you everything--its a small, hole-in-the-wall type of diner. They don't offer eggs benedict, or mimosas or any of those types of items; just basic breakfast (& lunch) items. It is also cash only!

I had been craving pork chops and had stopped at the Petro, outside of Kansas City, KS, don't stop - their chops were so dry you could dust your furniture with them - waste of money and rude customers to boot! I stopped at Uncle Pete's and was pleasantly surprised to get nice juicy chops. Thanks for restoring my faith in the chop!

Step through the door and you are immediately greeted warmly by the staff. Choose your table and once seated, the greeting is again offered along with the menu. It is 10:30 am and a hearty breakfast is on your mind. So many options! Perhaps you decide on the a la carte option and create your own breakfast special. As you wait -- "Good food is not fast and fast food is not good!"--your coffee cup stays warm and full thanks to the attentive staff. The food arrives and you are nicely rewarded for choosing "slow food" today--it is delicious! The biscuits are light and fluffy. The potatoes are crispy and golden. Such was our experience today when we decided to find a late breakfast as we left middle Tennessee for home in the east. This little, yummy spot will now be a regular stop for us. Mark your maps and set an alert for the next time you are passing by Lebanon. You will be glad you did!

I first went to Sno White over 30 years ago when I was in college. We have been back over the years. They have the best milk shakes around! The prices are much more affordable than the chain restaurants. I cannot get enough of this place. I wish we lived a little closer. If you are ever in Lebanon, TN, you must make a stop at Sno White!
