The population as of the 2010 census was 15,062. The town was named in honor of Revolutionary War hero Nathanael Greene. It is the only town with this spelling in the United States, although there are numerous U.S. towns named Greenville. The town was the capital of the short-lived State of Franklin in the 18th-century history of the Tennessee region.

I had a club sandwich and my wife had the broccoli cheese soup and half a tuna melt. Every thing was delicious. The restaurant is in an historic restaurant with interesting photos of Greenville on the wall. Sandwiches are served with a doll pickle and chips. They had a good selection of soups, salads, sandwiches and hoagies on the menu.

A family owned restaurant (mom, dad, daughter(s), and grandchildren. The best Burgers in Greeneville/Greene County, TN. Almost the best Sweet Tea. Friendly, quick, reliable service and food. Can remember when they first opened, expanded....Ate there almost weekly for four years. Last week when I was there again, just brought back great memories. Thanks for staying true and serving quality food. Never had a bad meal.

I do like this place. You can get spicy or not. The price is a little steep for a place that sells chicken and chicken strips.
