We were on a mission to find pizza and we didn't want anything from a chain. After searching TripAdvisor we found this hidden gem. And once we saw the menu no one ordered pizza (I wish we would have gotten a small one to try). The italian beef sandwiches were wonderful. The "gardenia" was spicy, so you only needed a little on your sandwich. The cheesesteak was good - the onions and peppers were chopped small, which I'm trying at home next time I make one. My daughter ordered a chicago dog and was ready for a second one she liked it so much. This is a small place, more geared to (and very busy with) take out and delivery orders - but the staff was still very attentive. We enjoyed talking to Tony, the owner. You can definitely tell he has Chicago roots. If we ever go back to this area we will be stopping in again.

Staying at the Hampton Inn we were starved when we arrived and called Domino's to deliver Chicken Alfredo and a Caesar salad. They were unbelievably quick delivering direct to the door of our room. My wife liked the pasta. The salad was okay but was the grab and go style, not home made.

Tuesday at 5:30 is pizza buffet night for about 6.95 and kids eat free with each adult paid. Typical Pizza Hut restaurant. Nothing particularly special about this one. We request the pizza we want on the buffet and they accommodate. Makes a cheap meal out with the family and its our kids favorite pizza and dessert sticks.
