I have eaten hear more times than I can count. They have the best stuffed potato around. I enjoy their ham stuffy and the turkey stuffy. My husband enjoys their pork nachos. I do wish the Lewisburg location had a dining area like the location in Athens. I started eating at Lawlers when I attended Athens State University because it was directly across from the campus and offered meat/veggies plates. I wasn't a huge fan at first, but it was conveniently located. Once I discovered their stuffed potatoes, I eat there as much as I can. LawLers Barbecue Stuffie Tater...one of the top 100 dishes in Alabama to eat before you die. Sounds like you Shannon1h1 discovered it long before almost anybody else! If you want good food and value for your money this is the place to go. We had a buffet choice of 3 meats, a variety of sides and salads and desserts for $6.25. All 3 meats were good - fried chicken, pulled pork and chicken dumpling. Chicken dumpling tasted exactly what our grandmother Mildred made which she called chicken pot pie. Dessert was peach cobbler with option for ice cream and a cinnamon gooey just rich tasting goodness. I would recommend this for both people on a budget or appreciate good value.
