Whilst in Tennessee I usually go to the Chop House at Sevierville but as I had a meeting in Knoxville, I decided to try the Chop House there. It was excellent and up to the standard of the Sevierville restaurant. The service was prompt, efficient, and courteous, and the steaks were very good.Thank you for your compliments on our waitstaff and menu, we're glad to hear you had just as enjoyable an experience here as at our Sevierville location, and we look forward to serving you again soon!

Texas Roadhouse Turkey Creek

Reviewed By BigDaddyDave55138

This restaurant is located in the Turkey Creek shopping complex in west Knoxville and Farragut Tennessee. Texas Roadhouse is relatively easy to miss as it faces a short subsidiary road in the shopping area. We’d eaten in a Texas Roadhouse years ago…but it was so long ago, with one exception to be explained later, its memory has faded. Upon entering the restaurant, you are greeted by a host or hostess as well as by a refrigerated display case full of various cuts of steak. For a carnivore like myself, this was a positive sign. The steaks looked good. A U-shaped bar is located in the center left of the restaurant’s public area as you enter the building. Customers in the bar are surrounded by TV screens… This is a large restaurant…with mostly booths but some tables for folks like me that aren’t crazy about booths. Wood with a touch of industrial style lighting plus a mix of Texan/country décor define the interior. As we were about to be seated, the hostess asked if we’d like some rolls…a little different than most establishments. They were stacked near the host’s station and she brought a basket of them with us. They were just OK and neither of us like the sweet ‘butter’ mixture that they’re served with. We want real butter! What we did remember from Texas Roadhouse years past were the peanuts…a fond memory! There still is a bucket of salted in-shell peanuts on every table. The only difference is that you don’t throw the shells on the floor like customers used to… Instead, an empty bucket is provided just for the remnants. Laurie’s 18 oz. Frozen Margarita with Sangria was very pretty…and she liked it a lot! ($6.25) I did my usual with a pint of Miller Lite. ($3.75) Both drinks went well with those peanuts!Although there is a lot of variety on the Texas Roadhouse menu, given that meat display case at the entrance with the emphasis on steaks on the menu, the tendency, at least for dinner, is to go for steaks! It least it was for us. We both chose steaks and we both went with the side Caesar salad. We like a lot of salad dressing (although many folks don’t) and this salad was perfect for us.The steaks were tender enough and they were grilled medium rare as requested. Laurie went for the 10 oz. Ribeye with applesauce on the side ($16.99) and I went for the 12 oz. version with 'loaded' steak fries. ($18.99 plus 99 cents) In our opinion the steaks just were OK as were my 'loaded' fries. Laurie would rate her steak as a 6 out of 10 and I would rate mine a 5. While the seasoning gave them flavor, the amount of salt used was a bit over the top. Conclusions: 1) The steaks were just average for a casual dining restaurant, and 2) The next time we dine at a Texas Roadhouse, we’ll explore other portions of the menu.

I used to love the old Regas restaurant. You could be assured that your experience would be nothing less than perfect, every time. That is the way with Fleming's. Yes, it is a special occasion place, one the average person wouldn't frequent every week, but it is quite good. We had a Valentine's dinner there that was so enjoyable. Our waiter, Drew, remembered us from an earlier visit. He was impeccable with his customer service. The food was exquisite, and I had wine that I have not seen offered elsewhere in Knoxville. It's a nice touch to have low lighting, real table cloths, and a seating arrangement that is somewhat private, no matter where you are sitting.

I recently enjoyed a nice relaxing lunch at this Copper Cellar. I had the lunch special chopped steak with grilled peppers and onions. I selected a twice baked potato as my side. The steak was ok but nothing special. Not prepared to well done as I had requested. The twice baked potato was outstanding. Full of flavor and baked to perfection The service was average sitting at the bar. I had to ask for refills. I had to ask for bread. I got nothing without asking It’s on the higher price scale for lunch. With tip and no alcohol it was $20Our lunch chopped steak and twice baked potatoes are truly winners in our book! We are always striving for the best in service and we thank you for your honesty. We hope you will stop by again for lunch and let us make it up to you!

Been to Ruth Chris many times... this experience was terrible. Maybe it was because I was with my 12 year old daughter on 4th of July. But, almost everything was "off"... I bragged to my daughter how good this was gonna be and they didn't deliver as I'm normally use too. Both on the food side and service. My lobster tail was awful... maybe just a bad day ! My daughter ordered calamari for an appetizer....I thought I didn’t like calamari until I tasted it here....so tender and not rubbery. Waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly! Couldn’t ask for better food or service. Well trained staff. Kudos to Connor’s!!! Will be back when in Knoxville!Thank you for the kind feedback!
