It was busy and after a 15 minute wait, we were seated in a booth in the bar area.Initially, we had good service, but it tailed off fairly quickly.I think our waitress was also being the bartender and was overwhelmed.Food was okay - not great. Baked potato was NOT as we ordered.

First quick-service, counter Mellow Mushroom ever. 24 draft/30+ bottle beers with a diverse local/regional selection, as well as an assortment of unique frozen daiquiri flavors, wine, and a full bar. Mellow Mushroom at The Island in Pigeon Forge is the la
We had originally planned on dining at the Paula Deen restaurant, but they told us there was a 90 minute wait, so like most normal people, we opted to find someplace else! As fans of Mellow Mushroom, we were excited to see that there was a location at the Island. When we walked in and saw what looked like a counter-service setup, we wondered if we were in the right place. Since there was no wait to order, we decided to give it a try and we were glad we did. The pizza was outstanding- served fresh out of the oven with a ton of cheese. The prices are a bit steep, but you are in a tourist area, so that is to be expected. My lone complaint though would be the cleanliness of the very small dining area. The tables werenât exactly spotless and the restroom could definitely have used a thorough cleaning. Other than that, if you are turned away at one of the other other popular dining establishments at the Island, give Mellow Mushroom a try. Iâll take no wait over 90 minutes any day!

We have something for everyone (including gluten free options) and it's all made fresh just for you! C'mon in, sit a spell and enjoy Southern Hospitality the way J.T. Hannah intended.
After a day at Dollywood we like to grab dinner at J.T.'s. The food and the service are consistently good. Not great, but very good. I can't put my finger on what they could do to be great, but something is always just slightly off. But much better than a Friday's, Applebee's or similar style chain. I really like the atmosphere and decor. If you're looking for a wide selection for a large group, this is the place!

Try the burnt ends appetizer. It was delicious. I had the combo dinner with ribs, chicken tenders, and pulled pork. Served with mac and cheese and corn casserole, both good. Hubby had a steak, ribeye I think. Steak was average. They only have their signature bbq sauce and it's vinegar based. If you don't like vinegar based sauces, you're out of luck here. Tried to get a side of the spicy bbq sauce but was denied and can't remember why. This was our 2nd time there. The first time we were there to try the ribs, and someone recommended we try again and get the steak. The ribs are passable, but not straight dry rub smoked and served. They are basted in bbq sauce, too, so remember the vinegar bbq sauce comment above. Atmosphere is nice, staff are friendly. Wait staff were somewhat slow, but nice enough.

We love Mellow Mushroom. The pizza is great, the kids love the Cosmic Karma, but I prefer to create my own. Either way they are great. We always order the appetizers too. The bruschetta, pretzel bites with beer cheese and spinach dip is always winners. Usually good service and a good, fun atmosphere.

Pigeon Forge's only family sports grill has been a best kept secret by the local residents for years. Blue Moose serves a variety of casual American fare from the juiciest 100% beef burgers, veggie patty options, award-winning jumbo chicken wings in 22 di
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening mill at Blue Moose. The onion rings are outstanding! I tried the appetizer potato skins and they were delicious. I liked how they did not entirely scoop all the potato out as some restaurants do. My husband enjoyed his Philly cheese steak sandwich; however, we are accustomed to swiss chesse on this type sandwich but they serve it with cheddar. You may want to ask for the swiss cheese if that's how you like your phillys also. Very clean restaurant with friendly staff.

We went because it was currently ranked very high on Trip Advisor. It was pretty good but not sure it deserves to be ranked as highly as it is compared to all the other good restaurants in the Pigeon Forge area.
