Assembled for a local daughterâs birthday celebration. Crowded, we enjoyed great cocktails and good wine. Appetizers consisted of mussels, tomAtoes and fresh cheese and wedge salad. All were delicious and appropriately proportioned. For entrees, we had two well-prepared strip steaks and two disappointing pizzas. Disappointing because the dough wasnât cooked enough to make the crust crispy; it was uncooked in the center. The chimchurri sauces was great as were the al dented green beans. Another disappointment was the wild rice and summer squash. Too much salt. The delicacy of the squash and rice were over powered by the salt. Perhaps this was an accident but it was a disappointment nonetheless. Meg, our server was flawless and made everything better.

We got a mushroom burger that was delicious. Fries were so so. Wouldnât order them again. Beer in bottles only. They did have wine. The music was classic country, not my style. The band works for tips so be generous if you like the music when they come around with the tip bucket. They also sold boots in the restaurant! When in Nashville....anything goes!

Featuring an array of global flavors and decadent desserts by Chef Deb Paquette and Pastry Chef Megan Williams, Etch is located in the ground floor of the Encore tower in Nashville's SoBro district. The restaurant is equipped with two private dining rooms
My mom and I recently dined at Etch, and it was such a great experience. After reading the menu, I was a bit nervous because the dishes combine a lot of flavor profiles and include many, many ingredients. I took a chance and got the venison and it was SO delicious! This is a really special restaurant, and I'd highly recommend visiting if you're in Nashville. Hi Channing,Thank you for your kind words! Itâs a pleasure knowing that your recent visit to Etch was so memorable. We appreciate your patronage and hope youâll return for the venison again soon!Ahna AbuvalaEtch

When we first arrived we were told that our table was not ready yet-but were told we could get a drink in the lounge. There just happen to be 3 seats at the bar so we decided to cancel our reservations in the restaurant and sit at the bar. Best decision ever! The upfront seat to 2 amazing musicians was so incredible. Our bartender/wait staff were outstanding as well. Our filets were so tasty and grilled to perfection. The scallops over brussel sprouts and cauliflower were so tasty with the maple glaze. Just outstanding!! I cannot say enough great things about the meal we had this past weekend. I will definitely be back!!

When in Nashville do as the locals do... Pass the Peas..Please! Great Southern Food served Family Style in Historic Settings. Located in historic buildings, Monell's as been a Nashville staple since 1995. Come on in, grab a seat and pass the food to the l
We rented a house in Germantown so we were able to walk here for dinner. This restaurant is in an old quaint brick house with beautiful gardens and coy ponds. They won't seat you until your whole party is there and no cell phones allowed in the dining room. We all sat at a large table. First round they served us cole slaw, cucumber salad, biscuits and gravy, and corn bread with yummy peach preserves (which they sell there also). Then came the main meal consisting of meatload, beef, fried chicken, along with green beans, mashed potatoes, and corn casserole. There is nilla wafer/banana pudding for dessert. It is served family style so you take as much as you want and they check back with you often. Loved it all. The chicken fell off the bone with delicious breading. Highly recommend coming here--can't beat the price either.

We had heard about Sinema, but have never had a chance to go. We decided to celebrate our 37th at Sinema. It was absolute perfection!!! We started upstairs where they were having happy hour specials and had excellent wines with aglonotti. Oh my goodness!!! This was to die for! What was even better, was my bill , because it was 2 for 1 on certain drinks. We had wine leftover to take downstairs to dinner. We started out with one cheese board and one meat board. This is one of the courses Sinema is known for, and for good reason. Wow! We've had charcuterie boards all over the U.S., and we don't think any restaurant touches the creativity of Sinema! We had the Spinach Peach salad next with fried pork belly. I should have stopped eating at this point, but our gracious server, Rebecca, brought the crabmeat/hearts of palm soup. Well hello, ya gotta keep eating! OMG!!! WOW!!! It had some kind of fried fig in the middle that made your tongue say, "Howdy". Then came the halibut that was pure perfection! To top everything off, we chose the ice cream sandwich of the day. Okay, so we grew up very simple, but this dessert was definitely wasn't simple. It was also super special for our night. The brookie (brownie/cookie) with homemade blueberry icecream, was surrounded by white chocolate. Ummm... yummy. I only thought I was full before it came out. Much thanks to Brett Nelson, chefs, and staff for giving us an AWESOME NIGHT to remember!

Located one block off Broadway, walking distance from Music City Center, and major hotels, this gem is quiet and easy to find. Valet parking is offered as well as free street parking and the restaurant also validates parking tickets. The food is creative
M serves regional cuisine but kicks them up 10 notches! Our waiter was experienced and well versed in the dishes so we asked his recommendations- and took them. The award winning fried green tomatoes were perfection! A seasonal special was the caprese salad. Homegrown freshly picked tomatoes-you KNOW how good they are- topped with fresh mozzarella and complimentary sauces. Delicious! Finally, I chose the scallops with cheese tortellini. The scallops were cooked perfectly so they melted in my mouth- no need to chew. The tortellini were plump and freshly made. I enjoyed every dish and every bite we had at M. I will return!
